Fitzroy Motor Inn

We turned up on Christmas Eve with no booking. The owners went out of their way to accommodate our large family and 4WD with camper trailer. We were heading north however due to inclement weather needed another night. Again the owners shifted things around to accommodate us and even offered use of their private kitchen. We stayed in both the House(located next to hotel) and the hotel rooms. The house was country /federation style and was well stocked with everything that you need if staying a few days. The beds were comfortable and the laundry and kitchen are great and well stocked with pans etc.
The hotel is more modern and the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable with great linen and pillows. And handy with bar fridge/microwave/toaster and jug.
The hotel also has a great large pool/spa with BBQ facilities. Again the pool was clean and the gardens lush and well maintained.
The location is fabulous, it’s close to everything and the Clarence river is across the street behind the hotel. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you. We will definitely be back on our travels north again in the future.

Thank you for accomodating us over the past 4 nights. The service was amazing and we felt very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and anything we needed was accommodated. Loved the pool, definitely enjoyed a quick dip to cool down before heading to speedway. There was room for us to park our car and car trailer. Rooms were clean, and value for money. Thank you to Greg who was more than happy to wash Matt’s race gear after our first night at the speedway and ready for the next. The entire complex was very clean, very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside having a nice cold drink in the afternoon. Highly recommend for anyone staying at Grafton. We are looking forward to coming back and staying in the beautiful old house. Thank you 🙏 ☺

Fitzroy motor inn came to our rescue when the Grafton public EV charger was broken and we didn't have enough in the battery to make it to another charger. Greg was so helpful and welcoming, even letting us chill by the pool whilst we waited for our car to be recharged so we could continue our journey. We will be forever grateful for the warm and generous assistance from the Fitzroy Motor Inn staff. We look forward to booking accommodation sometime soon!

My family & I stayed here for a family wedding the service was beyond incredible the rooms clean & comfortable position was great we will be back as we have never encountered such professional hospitality Sue & Greg were wonderful to deal with.

Tidy Hotel in Grafton. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and was clean and tidy.
It had a big salt water pool, which the kids love. Will stay again.

Very close to Grafton central, walking distance to the town centre and shops, simple, clean, basic rooms with a small kitchen. Staff are friendly and helpful without being invasive.

What a lovely Motel! Stayed 1 night in a family room 2 weeks ago. Newly renovated and provided everything we needed and more. Comfortable, clean, beautiful soft quality towels, linen and bedding. Kitchenette in our room provided everything we needed, fully stocked...even had a tea pot and leaf tea. The pool was beautiful and the owners very welcoming, friendly. Nicest motel my family and i have stayed in. Thank you for having us!

Best place I have ever stayed with my family. The room was so clean and the bathroom had all the supplies that you needed. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The pool area was awesome for the family to have a dip with the hot Grafton weather. The beds were so comfortable! Definitely recommend this motel and would absolutely come back.

Was pleasantly surprised staying here, it's not fancy but presents excellent value for money.

Rooms were very clean, beds were great and ample supplies to get the basics done.

Was worried about road noise but the rooms are well insulated and it's located a short stroll from the shopping centre.

Would stay here again.

Excellent place, so accessible to major shopping precinct. Very clean, housekeeping daily, washed our clothes at a small price and delivered to our room. Can highly recommend the Fitzroy Motor Inn.

We stayed in November and Helen the host was unbelievable. There was a storm and they lost power and she immediately gave us a torch and offered any assistance required.

Excellent. Great place for a stay over. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. We love their breakfast options. We had the continental tray and it was excellent.

Fantastic service and good place to stay, recommend this place to others

We had a family gathering and all met in Grafton. 8 of us in total stayed in 2 rooms. One was a really spacious family room where 2 adults and 3 children stayed. 3 adults stayed in another room nearby. The rooms were so comfortable, immaculately clean, with a great layout we all had a great time. We all loved the pool and spa and can't thank the host Charles enough for being so helpful and making our stay such a pleasurable one. I would highly recommend this motel for very reasonable priced accommodation it ticks all the boxes and then some.
