Oriental Star

Oriental Star has become one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the area. Eating at the restaurant is a little weird as it feels a bit dark and quiet but the food is great. I have also found the staff to be very kind for both eat in and takeaway. It is my go-to restaurant when wanting Chinese delivered. They are dependable and quick. I do recommend the place but I do wish the experience eating in the restaurant was a little bit less gloomy.

Delicious and consistently good Chinese take-away. The family that run it are lovely. Highly recommend the Salt & Pepper tofu.

Walked past this place a fair few times now over the past few years. Finally took a dive and tried it out! We have been missing out! This place is a local gem, food was sensational. We got the Shandong Chicken and Peking Sauce Ribs, it was perfectly cook. The taste was authentic without being over seasoned, which is hard to come by.

Dont let the decor fool you, this place is legit. Any asians walking by, please stop by, the place is authentic!

Local hidden Gem

We always LOVE the food here and get the Chicken Laksa, Mongolian Lamb and a Honey King Prawn. Absolutely delicious each time and plenty of variety! Yummmoooo

Excellent meal, very friendly service, got takeaway and it was hot and fresh, to the lady arguing over the $2 in the comments below, if you can spend over $100/week on takeout you can probably afford the $2 spring rolls. No food poisoning (and i ate the left overs the next day). Highly recommend, Support local!!

Had number of times their sweet and sour pork. Delish. Good Chinese food, not cheap but I think affordable for the quality u get. Super fast too. Support ur local businesses thru this tough time, order takeaway. Honey prawn, sweet and sour pork, salt and pepper squid, fried rice, all delish I promise

Great food at a reasonable price too! Done in a timely manner also. They are happy to modify things as you want, if you want lemon chicken, but with the sauce on the side, just ask, and they are happy to do it for you.

Underrated Chinese place in Gladesville. My go to in Sydney. Whenever I’m ordering Chinese it’s from here. Love the Mongolian lamb. Service is great. Family business.
