Driving from Sydney to Gold Coast we Googled for the best coffee joints in Coffs Harbour. This place came up as 5 stars and we are always wary of fake reviews, but this is rated highly for a reason! It was a bit tricky to find as it was in an alleyway but well worth finding.

Ordered a couple of soy lattes and banana bread. The guy (owner?) was happy to chat about coffee as I was quite curious, and he shared his innovative extraction technique with lower temperature than normal and faster extraction. The result was super tasty specialty coffee!

We got the banana bread for the kids and I’m glad they weren’t hungry coz I got to eat it and it was also fantastic.

The whole cafe has a nice vibe and we had a nice time relaxing out the back with nice decor and atmosphere. Also had a good view through the window of the coffee roaster in the same building which I believe is a separate business.

Total commitment & super service! 👌 Luke brings his kombi to school every Friday in order to provide us with awesome My Mate’s Place coffee…rain, hail or shine! & he’s always smiling & positive to boot! Thank you Luke! We couldn’t get by without you. 😊

If you want amazing specialty coffee, incredible food and friendly service - this is the place to go!!!!
Had an incredible coffee and bagel. Bacon and egg bagel was 10/10, went down a treat with the awesome single origin coffee. Owner was super friendly and welcoming and knew heaps about coffee. Was just an awesome place.

I get my coffee fix regularly from MMP before starting my workday because the coffee and service are fantastic. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable and warm, Luke and staff always greet you with a smile. It's a cool hangout with plenty on offer with their tempting food/snack options. Highly recommend giving them a shot (no pun intended)!

Great shop, coffee service and vibe are on point. House blend for milk based coffee and a really clean, well extracted Ethiopian single origin for blacks. Highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a great coffee made by people who truly care. Bonus points for having an in house roaster and a real community feel. Can't wait to come back.

Got a coffee here and stayed for another one because it was that good. Excellent service, very friendly and nice space.

Honestly the best coffee in town and best service tucked away in a nice artsy alley that gives off Melbourne vibes. Luke and the other staff are always there with a warm greeting and smile, while the quizzes on the wall are always interesting to try and guess. Donuts and brownies are a bonus.

i came to check out this cafe with some friends and it was busy for a small coffee shop but our food & coffees came out quick considering that. It was the best acai bowl ive ever had!

We recently worked with Luke on an activation for our Surfing NSW surf comp in Coffs Harbour to activate the Bonsoy milk products. Luke was an absolute legend from concept through to delivery. Such a pleasure to work with and a staple at our events. The team, competitors and spectators have come to love him and his coffee!
