Chargrill Charlie's Mosman

We ordered a bunch of chickens and chips and salads for our wedding recovery meal for pick up - the food was very reasonably priced, ready on time for pickup and delicious! The team was super helpful in planning how much we would need. Highly recommend the Mosman Chargrill Charlie's!

Stumbled upon Chargill Charlie’s and was reluctant to give it a go because of the reviews but I was so glad I did. I genuinely can’t believe how good it was, my partner and I got a chicken burger (not pictured) and a half chicken meal with three salads.

The chicken was cooked to perfection in both the box and burger and both meals were full of flavour. The store was so busy but service was fast, friendly and very diligent.

I had been recommended this chicken shop by a good friend, who raved about it, and now i can see why. Chargrill Charlie’s popped up on my instagram sharing some love. With shops all other the north side of the bridge, when i was in Manly, i had to stop by for lunch.

Like a newb i walked in to order, then realised there is a whole system going on here. You grab a number, then order then somehow they remember you and tell you when you order is ready.

Justin Bieber visited on the 17th March, which is proudly displayed in the middle of the shop. JB had a very good tip off here

Chicken + cheese;; american cheese combo $15.30 - waow! i didn’t get many photos because i literally inhaled this burger in 1 minute. I don’t know whether it’s the red onion, secret sauce or that chicken that makes this burger so amazing. #addicted Also those fries, i love that you go to a chicken shop and the chips are fries, its the absolute perfect companion rather than thick hot chips

Very busy shop huge selection of food chicken burgers. burgers salads .not overpriced .the combo meal chips and massive. They now ave a poke salad for when your feeling like a healthy choice. So hard to go past the hot Chip's. Lunch is really busy go early or later to beat the crowds if possible

The go to chicken shop! Well priced and service is sharp. Not only chicken here, you have roasts, lasagne, salads, desserts.

This was my first time eating here. I thought this would be just another normal chicken stuff. However it is not.

First of all, the chicken and chips (half chicken) is just cheaper than all of the stuff i went.

Second of all, i thought the chicken would be dry and kinda hard to eat that's why i sat down and washed my hand and got lots of sauces but i was mistaken. It was so tender and soft. It just falls apart and i was using the plastic fork and knife but it just feels like its not plastic. That's how soft the chicken was.

Thirdly, the chips is so thin which is better than the thick ones. It was crispy.

Lastly it was so good. Just bones are left. Sauces are hardly touched bcs it wasn't needed that much. The sauce add some flavour for the chicken and chips.

Thank you, this is quite a service. I spent less than $15 for the food and i didn't even need water bcs it was so tender. Normally i would but it just falls apart in my mouth (chicken)

Fantastic food and service. We even got offered a free dessert! Been doing us good for over 3 years now. Recommend it to anyone who likes chicken and chips and there are even vegan options as well. Great for anyone 🤩🤩✨

Coming on for a quick sunday lunch around 1.30pm.
This place is super busy. But you still get the food under 5min.
Chicken was juicy, chips was crispy and hot.
The team work so hard and serious, but still greet you with friendly face.

Can’t fault this place. Consistently had great food there, and the staff are pretty friendly even though they’re almost always under the pump. Best to order ahead of time through the app, to save waiting in queues

Have lived in the area for 10+ years, and this place is my "go to" for fast, fresh and delicious food. The staff are always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently fantastic! There appears to be a lot of rubbish reviews on here, but take it from someone who visits weekly, their chicken, chips and salads can't be beaten!!

I love coming here, both for the food and the staff. These folk serve generous portions (I'm talking full bags of hot chips, salad boxes almost full to bursting) of delicious food and decent prices. My partner and I come by at least once a week to get a Family Pack (which lasts for 1-3 meals depending on how much we want to eat our feelings lol), and are never disappointed.

The team there is also amazing at making the customers feel appreciated and want to come back. Little things, like sometimes giving me an extra stamp on my reward card e.g. I spend $39, and the reward card says 1 stamp per $20. But they give me two because I am polite and friendly. This kind of business model is the best, rewarding those who treat you with respect and encourage positive attitudes and return business. Whoever runs this place should be proud of their team.

Only downside to the place is when you try to order delivery on some of the delivery apps, one in particular (rhymes with Goober). The prices can get inflated quite quickly. I'm talking a $39 family pack costing $46.90 + 'service' $4 + delivery fee $4.99-7.99, totalling min $55.90. Whoever runs the franchise should look into it, because I can cop a certain level of delivery charge, but $15 extra is too steep. So I tend to get pick up instead, which is fine for me but may be discouraging for other potential customers.

Thats a minor issue though, otherwise the place is amazing and has become a family favourite.

I want to thank the hero staff member who saved my day. When I went to pay for the fries, I found I forgot to bring my wallet. The staff member kindly suggested I take the fries home first so they didn’t get cold and that he trusted me to return and pay. My faith in kind gestures is renewed. Thank you again, bro!

Great food, service and facilities . Great variety in the menu as well!

This has been my staple Chicken shop for over a decade. I always order 2 half-chicken dinner meals with 3 choices of salads plus a dessert. Staff are friendly, servings are generous and salads are fresh.

I'm not sure what's going on with these other reviews because I had a completely different experience. Staff was completely friendly. They gave us samples on what we thought we wanted. The food was amazing. Go with the ribs, cheese cauliflower, and carrots. Would come back again if I lived in Sydney.

The food and the service here is fantastic. Everyone is always happy and goes out of their way to accommodate whatever your order may be. I have a big order every week, and the Manager Bryan and Aom, one of the senior staff here are so organised for me, and have it ready to go as I am in a hurry etc. I can highly recommend coming here. The chicken is always yummy and moist, as well as anything else you might want to order. The best place to come for your daily/ weekly food or if you need any catering for a special occasion.

Many reviews seem to be quite negative, but I find that hard to fathom. There is no doubt that it is often very busy and chaotic and in truth I don't like waiting any more than anyone else. There are times when I walk in and come straight back out again, but that's because it is extremely popular. The food is consistently good and the range is wide. For me it is good value.

For non-locals the ticketing system is pretty weird but once you get past that and the long lines, the food is really good. Best chips in Sydney and they are always kind enough to drench it with gravy. Chicken is sometimes a bit flavourless but great with gravy.

Been going there for 2years now. Hospitality is very good and wide range of homemade menus. Hats off to sabir for fabulous service. And food is worth the money i spend.
