Crooked River Wines - Winery - Cellar Door - Restaurant - Wedding Venue

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with no booking. They were fully booked for wine tastings, however we got a bottle and sat outside in the valley. It was absolutely perfect. We stayed for three hours and enjoyed the sun, some nibbles and some of their wine selection.

Highly recommend coming here from 3pm as they have a great happy hour.

Had lunch at Crooked River Winery on a Sunday. Would recommend making a reservation as it can get busy. We chose the lamb to share with 2 sides which were pumpkin and potatoes. Great portion for 2 people with a couple of wines. We could not fault our meal, and staff were very attentive. The outlook over the undulating green fields and vineyard was beautiful and peaceful. Would recommend to others and would definitely return for a lovely meal.

What a delicious meal we had a CRW last Friday evening! As soon as the waitress started describing the beef rib special, I WAS IN! It tasted even better than it sounded. Fall-off-the-bone meat that melted in my mouth. And the accompanying charred corn cob was a beauty. The wine didn’t disappoint - a scrumptious rich red that was so smooth we had to order another bottle. What a feast! And the view is amazing! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you are planning a trip south, definitely include a meal here. And if you live locally, get on down to this fabulous restaurant!! You won’t regret it.

Stopped here for a glass of wine and a platter for a light lunch. From the wine to the platter and our look from where we ate it was amazing. Lots of wine and food to try from. If you're up for a larger meal they have a great restaurant with some great variety of items on the menu.

We live in Sydney and we come here often to get away for a beautiful lunch. The views are next to none all around, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Wonderful place to come with friends our partner for a casual wine and meal or more proper sit down. Delicious variety of wines as well.

A lovely winery with amazing rolling hill views. They have a nice selection of small bites and variety of wines. We were greeted and looked after by Zoe. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our visit here despite the wet weather outside! Thanks for looking after us Zoe!

We had a ripper evening at Crooked River Wines Restaurant last Friday. Got there at 6.00pm; early enough to enjoy the sunset over the vineyard - SPECTACULAR! The staff are super friendly and read their customers well. But oh, the food. Apparently there is a newish chef - KEEP HIM! My barramundi was perfectly cooked, such a beautiful texture. I never met a bowl of fries I didn’t love, but these were really a cut above. SOOO GOOD! I polished off two very generous bowls. Oops.
I don’t often write reviews but was really moved to after this experience. A stunning meal, great staff and a wow! location. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing staff and an amazing chef.
We visited here today (12/01/24) & due to recent surgery, most of the menu was off limits to me. But the chef & staff went above & beyond to do something they didn't have to do & made my experience here a truly memorable one. Thank you dearly for taking the time to make just one persons experience, out of hundreds there, one to remember.

We attended a birthday here on Saturday. A beautiful venue. We had a wine tasting and the lunch.
The meal was just beautiful. Beautifully cooked and presented.
Lovely grounds for children to run around in, goats, and chooks for them to feed.
You can have a set two course menu or A la carte.

Exceptional staff, outstanding food & wine & by far the best views for lunch for miles. Even with small children we still managed to have a great time. Five stars ⭐

Great atmosphere' very friendly and attentive wait staff and Host. Elegant dishes, great house wine and ale's. Fantastic scenery while you dine of the vineyard and grounds.

Beautiful setting overlooking the landscape. We sat outside in a gorgeous sunny winter day as we had a dog with us.

The food was sensational. Very well presented and tremendous flavours.

I had the duck breast which was cooked to perfection. Steak fillet was cooked perfectly. Snapper full of colours.

As My son is celiac and the chef offered to cook a steak fillet and pan fried chips as the children menu didn’t have a gluten free option.

We also ordered Side dishes of cauliflower gratin with truffle (which was devoured by everyone including the kids) and green beans which added a nice balance to the meals.

The chips were crispy and perfectly cooked in my daughter’s cheeseburger and chips child dish.

Chocolate tart was small but the flavours were perfect after a wonderful meal.

Staff service was friendly and very accommodating. This is a definite stop for a wonderful lunch with fantastic views.

This was the place I chose to purpose to my girlfriend at about four weeks ago now and I’m glad I chose it. Having such stunning views made it the perfect spot to pop the question and take after photos as well.

We celebrated a birthday lunch.......staff were fantastic in the lead up with all the preparation and allowed us to store the cake the day before. Food was amazing and the team looked after us on the day. Thanks Daisy, Rachel & Mo.

Staff are very friendly. The venue is fantastic! Plenty of room for kids to busy themselves while adults indulge in great wines, food and atmosphere. We arrived for a wine tasting and ended up doing lunch and a cheeky nap under a tree. Do eat the gnocchi with lobster and the rib eye roast. Yum! Don't be in a rush cos you'll wanna stay here for quite a while. Big thumbs up!!

Quite the delightful little romp. Live music, cheese board and wine. Must say the cheeses and mixed condiment’s were deliciously presented and paired. The wine complimented them well, and the vibe was great. Views are stunning. Bit busy but in a good way.

Fantastic experience at Crooked River. Table of 8 great friends, excellent food (the finger lime oysters were 👌), beautiful sparkling wine, views and great tunes. Couldn't ask for more.

Lunch on New Years Day was a special experience and a great way to bring in 2024. Amazing food, impressive first class wine list, incredible staff and a stunning vista. Can’t wait to visit again.

One of our beautiful girls bought us for Christmas a wine tasting, . . what a beautiful day it turned out to be, we stayed on and had lunch and took in the amazing lush scenery. The food was delish, and staff were very friendly, funny and couldn't help us enough. .
I would highly recommend this for a couple of hours rest on your way up or down the coast or just a couple of hours of relaxation.
