The Hill Bar & Kitchen

My partner and I shared a bunch of entrees, had a few cocktails and had sticky date pudding. We found the fish in the fish taco to be way too oily, but the rest of the food was absolutely amazing.
The sticky date pudding was the best I've ever had and all the cocktails were delicious. We will defiantly be back for dinner again.

Taken here today for my bday. We didnt have a booking but got a table on the balcony. Baby chair provided for our 1year old. Food was delicious and didnt have to wait too long. Great view, good atmosphere. Would return :)

Good food, awesome views, great atmosphere. just a bit overpriced, ordered the Renfrew Renegade beef burger, Salt & Pepper Squid & 2 beers got charged $74 dollars. Surcharges through the roof.

Awesome restaurant fine dining experience. Noisy pub atmosphere, cocktails, wine bar, spirits.
Some outdoor seating with comfy chairs, bench & stools seating inside (not so comfy)

Excellent fine dining restaurant quality food, great variety, good-sized meals, presented like an artwork and a taste to match!! Slow-ish service but well worth the wait! Talk to each other!!!
A must do when in Gerringong!!

We had lunch there which was a Christmas present from our daughter. We shared 3 plates, fish tacos, calamari and arincini balls. All 3 meals were delicious. The weather wasn't too good, but the view from the verandah is still pretty special.

The food here was amazing! 😻 we couldn’t fault anything, except the single lettuce leaf as a side salad with the steak 😅
I had the prawn linguine, it was absolutely delicious! We had salt and pepper calamari and arancini balls as starters. They were huge portions and high quality, very tasty, fresh. My partner got the steak, which was also delicious and cooked to perfection.
The cocktails were also lovely. We will def be back!

Stumbled upon this gem of a location.
From the moment we were greeted by staff. Seated served and looked after well.
The staff were attentive and the view was amazing.

The entree came out quicker than we expected and a wide selection of drinks.

The lamb main was amazing certainly well prepared and flavorful.

Good food and service. Would be improved with table service for ordering. Exceptional views from everywhere in the restaurant.

The lovely experience started with the staff calling to discuss the best seating arrangement for my party of 8.

When we arrived, the stunning view just took our breath away. There's plenty of tables with a view: Inside by the windows, outside on the balcony (though only for smaller parties and no shelter) and outside at the front of the restaurant. Make sure you book well ahead for inside window seats. As of writing they have a strict 90min limit for tables by the window, but had a table for us ready outside when the 90min was up.

Food and drinks were good, there's a mocktail on offer as well. The bar tender was accommodating and added extra fruit for me. We had quite a lot of dishes and the stand out was the prawn linguini. Mussels were well cooked but a bit bland.

For dessert Eton mess was ok (could have done with more meringue pieces) and the chocolate cookie ice cream sandwich was frozen solid.. So a little bit disappointed and wished they had the panna cotta on offer.

The overall atmosphere, lovely staff, a big menu and finally the beautiful view made it a 5 star for me. I'll be back!

We had a great meal here. The Mexican salad was delicious and a big portion, the Aranchini balls were tasty as well. The cucumber cocktail (I forget the exact name) was really nice and refreshing. It’s a nice place with good views and ambiance.

We have been impressed with the service each time we've dined at The Hill. This time, our server was so kind and offered us a round of drinks on the house because our table was unavailable when we arrived. We were so pleasantly surprised and grateful for this gesture! The staff were friendly, welcoming and didn't rush us out the door even though we were the last to leave on a Sunday night. Thank you for the lovely experience and service, we'll be back :)

Had a lovely meal, well cooked and not overpriced. We had been warned that it can be noisy but we found it fine. The following evening we didn’t have a booking and just wanted a drink- the manager on duty went out of his way to accommodate.
The views are a bonus!!

Enjoyable food and drinks. The tacos are pretty tasty.
The view is great but it could be so much better without the plastic sheets blurring the view, even if it does allow more weather in.

Best food we’ve had out in a long time!
Inside was fully booked on a breezy Monday night, though the host was very accommodating with a table outside and turned the heater on.

The Buddha bowl is worth returning for, the bbq meat lovers pizza was also delicious, wish it were slightly bigger to enjoy more of it.

We are only in town for a couple of days, though will certainly come back to try more dishes.

Got lunch for the family. The kids meals were a good size the youngest struggled to finish.
Everyone loved what they got.
Good drinks select on tap we got the cider.
Would go back again even with the kids...
The staff were good even helping a person in a wheel chair find a table, great service.

We celebrated my husbands birthday here and everyone loved their meal, including me and I am vegetarian. The staff were super helpful and service was amazing. Thank you! We will be back :-)

Very welcoming. They were quite busy being a long weekend, so the food was a little slow to come out but well worth the wait! Excellent quality food. The burger was also excellent as were the side of chips. Super views out over the ocean also

Fantastic customer service, Million Dollar views, amazing food. Best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Very friendly team. Great work team, we stayed two days in Gerringong and ate twice at The Hill because the service and food was so great.

Awesome spot with fantastic views and equally good menu items: the snapper is amazing. Definitely worth visiting for a quick bite, a date, or just to take in the scenery. You can see Gerrigong beach from the patio or enjoy a seat indoors if it is windy or rainy. Enjoy the fireplace!!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the verandah soaking in the glorious views over the beach. Maz, who looked after us, went beyond our expectations to ensure our afternoon was a delight. The food was delicious and once again Maz ensured our dietary requirements were catered for without any compromise. I highly recommend the Hill Bar & Kitchen and look forward to visiting again.
