Light Country Visitor Information Centre (Kapunda)

An early morning visit and we were greeted by 2 smiling and passionate employees keen to share their knowledge of their beloved Kapunda.
After viewing the underground cellar and the upstairs Sir Sidney Kidman exhibition both came with Free entry thanks to a very generous council.

Anyone considering driving through town without stopping Don’t, call in and see the friendly staff for complimentary town maps and general tourist advice.

Gets my highest rating of 5 stars.

Barossa & Light Cab Service like the Kapunda Visitor Information Centre because it is located in the centre of Australia's oldest mining town.

Hosted in a heritage building, along with the local Library, Community Art Gallery and Community Craft Shop, the Visitor Information Centre is part of a newly renovated visitor hub in the award winning Thomson building.

Hallo,
einmal war ich vor einiger Zeit für einen Besuch hier in Kapunda. Natürlich sollte und muss man da auch hier im Visitor Information Centre vorbei schauen.
Ein netter und altes Gebäude mitten an der Hauptstraße des Ortes. Im inneren war es nett und freundlich. Das Personal war echt höflich und kompetent. Es gibt einiges zu erfahren, ein kleines informatives Museum und auch ein paar kleine Souvenirs zum kaufen. Wer etwas über den Ort erfahren will, der ist hier genau richtig, die Einheimischen können sehr viel erzählen über die Geschichte von Kapunda.

A very interesting place to visit, well worth while. Enjoyed the Exhibition of Sir Kidman in the Information Centre ,& of course a great Cappuccino & Apple Turnover at the
