Royal Hotel

Was visiting from Sydney. Mum and her partner recommended that we go here for dinner. We had the cheesy garlic bread for entrees. I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder (as pictured). It was really delicious. Will definitely go again when I'm back up there

It's a pub... The staff are great. They'd have to be great to put up with a bunch of miners. The food was exactly what I expected from a good pub meal. For once don't have photos of what I was eating as I was so damn busy eating it chatting and drinking (Coke mostly cause I was deso). Just enjoyed the whole vibe.

This is the only place worth eating in Muswellbrook! And don't the locals know it! The menu is sensational with great quality food plenty of gluten free options. The only down side is sometimes the food can take a whole to come out because literally the whole town eats there but it's well worth the wait.

Great food, good portions at a reasonable price. The service was prompt and friendly.

So impressed with Charlotte and Angie who were monumental in our fantastic experience and service at the Royal. Charlotte facilitated any enjoyable dining experience that was second to none and very much appreciated after a long day. Angie was obviously in charge of the lot and had it well in hand. Very impressed from customers from Cairns. Love local hospitality. ❤❤❤

Great pub. No pokies! Steve the owner/manager was an amazing host. Lamb from Pukara estate must not be missed.

The royal has taken the crown for the best pub food in Muswellbrook in my opinion. Staff are super friendly and food always comes out close to perfectly cooked. Portions are also very generous.

Fabulous pub meal. Friendly service. Good local wine choices. As good as any pub meal, anywhere in Australia.

After recently moving to Muswellbrook I was looking for a good local pub and I can certainly say I found one. The staff are all absolutely lovely and the food is top notch. I've been there twice already and am looking forward to more times in the future.

First time visiting this pub. Was very happy with the food and portion size. Staff was very friendly too. Great choice of beers on tap. Will happily come back here when I am in the area again.

What a great pub we had breakfast there and cause it was so good we even came back and had a late lunch before heading home, food omg god amazing and big meals as we came to Muswellbrook for the cattle dog muster, we will definitely be back.

Nice Hotel to Stay in this Region. Their Staff are very friendly, they have huge restaurant in the ground hotel, make delicious cuisine, renovated rooms, so cozy, classic and rustic, worth the money you pay. This hotel is in central town so its located just next to cafe, highway, banks, wineyards. Highly recommend - Must visit.

Very busy on the Saturday evening we visited. Friendly and helpful staff and great pub food. We had the parmigiana with chips and stuffed chicken breast with roast potatoes and both were tasty and good value for money.

Absolutely delicious chicken massive serving sizes and kind people definitely recommend

Absolutely Sensational! This hotel is beautifully decorated, has a great range of beers and very attentive staff that provide awesome service. I visited for the first time last night and enjoyed a perfectly cooked Wagyu Steak. I can’t wait to go back to enjoy something else from the comprehensive menu. Thank you to Steve for and all of the staff for a very memorable experience. Highly, highly recommend the Royal Hotel Muswellbrook!
