Wow wow wow! The BEST food we've tasted in a long time - the tacos are to die for... And the dessert is next level!
We had the most amazing night thanks to the great staff. The service was top notch, couldn't fault it. Got suggestions on drinks and what food to go with and we didn't regret it. Very knowledgeable and friendly team! We will be regulars for sure, can't wait to come back again soon! Thanks again for having us.

Located inside the El Toro Motor Inn is this gem of a Mexican restaurant. Firstly the corn chips here are scrumptiously amazing, crispy goodness with dustings of seasoning specks. Secondly, the tacos are packed and loaded - very filling. My personal favourite was the prawn taco. Friendly staff, quick service and lots of parking - what more can you ask for ! Highly recommend this establishment especially on a Tuesday night as they serve up $4 tacos.

El Topo has hands down the best mexican food I have ever tasted!! The atmosphere and decor was well decorated and genuine. The staff were incredible, especially Lorna who was very welcoming! As first timers, she helped to get us comfortable and explained everything on the menu as well as the weekday specials. On such a versatile menu, she really helped pick out the top favourites the restaurant had to offer which we can give a definite 👍. We tried all the tacos which were all delightful and the lychee and strawberry margaritas. The shoestring chips were to die for, so crunchy and tasty! Would definitely come back with friends and family again.

Fun and vibrant, a hidden jem.

What an absolute hidden gem this place is, I have driven by so many times but under recommendation we decided to have dinner here. The interior is colourful, fun and exciting. The music is a real flashback for me too. The service and attention to detail is top notch, very friendly staff and the place is really clean too.
We ordered the chips and they were amazing, crispy and well seasoned. The cheese quesadillas were loved by the kids, but the adults couldn't keep away from them too. The tortilla they used is actually really good. Light and fluffy. Not heavy at all and the cheese was gooey and stretchy.
The birria quesadillas is a must, best thing we ordered. They were amazing, especially soaked in the accompanying broth. I ended up pouring that broth onto everything. The tacos were great too, fresh tortillas and very generous and tasty fillings, we got the chicken, beef and pork tacos. The beef burrito was giant and really good, again the kids loved it as much as the adults. Heaps of filling and really tatsy. We topped it all off with the churros and chocolate sauce. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
One thing you don't see in other places is that they had like 20 different hot sauces, i tried a few of them and they were all so good, a nice range of spice too to try.
Brilliant cocktails too that didn't seem watered down and a great range.
All in all, great place with excellent service and amazing food. The price was really good too. We'll be coming back for sure. Fantastaco!

Not only was the food delicious, the servers were absolutely wonderful and super accommodating. Portions were generous and food was very tasty, as were the drinks! Definitely coming back again.

We're so happy we found this place! My husband loves the chicken and the beef tacos. I love the quesadilla. It's a nice place, the staff are lovely, and it's easy to order using your phone. Absolutely recommend.

Visited here for the first time 19/9/23 and had a great surprise! Great vibe, colourful place, food was great and varied. Service very friendly and quick. Easy to miss and there's no lit up signage at night. But take a moment to drive down the road to find the El Toto Motel. It's in there.

I only came back from Mexico a month ago, people ensured me once I came back to Australia that tacos would never be the same.... these people are right, until I went here.

The tacos are full of flavour and mimicked the standard I got in Mexico.

The restaurant is well designed and the menu is simple, but sufficient.

Fair price for a great feed.

Food was amazing! Cute little hidden spot, which looks dodgy when you park but once inside it’s very special. I highly enjoyed the food and felt like it took me back to when I was overseas eating all this amazing Mexican food.

What a hidden little gem! You would never expect this little Cantina hidden away in this part of the city. Great ambiance, with fantastic and friendly staff.
The food was delicious. I only ordered the Tuna Tostadas (a must order!) and 3 fish tacos, but all were mouth watering.
For drinks I went with their Jalapeno Margarita (which I had to have 3) and a few Don Julio Reposado tequilas to sip on.
I will definitely be back to sample more drinks and definitely more food.

What an amazing restaurant tucked away in Warwick Farm! Food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely go back again.

$4 Tacos $5 Tequila shots $10 Cocktails ! What a bargain! My mates and I come here on Tuesdays. I'll miss the Cocktails, Tequila and the Mexican beer as I know have quit drinking :(

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The tacos taste amazing and with all the different choices of hot sauce the combinations are endless! . I have been to the El Topo in Bondi and this one is far superior and is not overcooked and dry.
Also don't forget to grab your loyalty card and purchase 9 tacos and get your 10th one free!!!

Local Mexican restaurant with delicious food and great atmosphere. The food tastes as good as it looks !

We visited El Topo Cantina last night for a birthday booking of 10 and wow! we were delighted! The service was fantastic and food was delicious. Highly recommend the Birria Quesadilla and wings. Don’t forget to order the corn cob, to die for! El topo Cantina will take you on a journey to Mexico, beautiful decor and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you El Topo!!
