Cafe Tabouli

Fantastic food. We loved their Kafta kebabs on freshly made bread from their pizza oven. Fatoush salad was superb. Their Chicken Parmi was rock solid with chunky real chicken meat with a nice touch of aoili sauce to dip the hot chips in. Their pizzas were really nice and reminded us of how real pizzas used to be made. Their Spicy Sujuk pizza, Supreme and Vegetarian pizzas are top class. Check their blackboard for their daily specials where you can get great deals. They make great coffee as well.

This place rocks. The first of its kind in the west to serve fusion Lebanese- Asian inspired food. And I must say the results were delicious. Please beware this is a FUSION restaurant so unless you come with an open mind don’t then complain that it’s not “traditional tabouli”, etc. but I promise it delivers on bold flavors !

The owner is amazing. She really cares about your experience and if you liked her food. From start to finish she never stopped checking on us and catering to our needs. Worth checking out

Cafe Tabouli is currently doing a happy hour sale, with $12 pizza and $5 Mocktails on select days between 5-7pm.
I got two pizzas; chili chicken and Hawaiian.
The Chili Chicken and the mocktail was great, but the Hawaiian is some of the best pizza I’ve tasted this year. Very juicy, very well made pizza. Will try a different combination next time we visit.

Kids ate everything! they rarely do!
Coffees were perfect.
Staff were polite & happy.
We had paintings hung & displayed around us which caught the eyes of my daughter & appreciation for the different pieces.
For our family of 4, it was extremely affordable, next time I'll let them keep the change.

Yesterday I was invited to try their new menu with an amazing group of Sydney Foodies. I was so impressed with by the clever Chef @virginiacheong who created a Lebanese/Asian fusion. I loved the twist on the Tabouli (especially the chilli tabouli) and the mouthwatering marinated meats.

This is something you really have to try for yourself and to experience, and I'm so glad to have been part of the new menu launch.

Love this place!
Love this place that much that I came back for lunch after having dinner here last night!

The combination of Lebanese and Asian fusion works and am a huge fan. The Mongolian lamb and satay chicken kebab on homemade pita bread are my absolute favourites so do yourself a favour and get both.

I love small local businesses and Cafe Tabouli exemplifies that hard work and dedication can overcome any adversity. Owner Virginia is one of the nicest people, welcoming all diners and passionate about delivering quality dining for the local community. I tried their shish tawook chicken skewers, kafta and lamb skewers with beautiful fresh eggplant dips, flatbread and their signature spicy tabouli. Beautiful hearty food. Full of flavours and vibrant colours. They serve 5 different coffee blends and there is a real friendly buzz about the restaurant. They recently introduced some Asian inspired options such as satay skewers and Mongolian beef. A nice family friendly local for you to try.

Cafe Tabouli based in Homebush is serving up delicious food ranging from freshly baked Manoush to dishes that harmoniously combine Asian cuisine and Lebanese cuisine together.

The Spicybouli which is one of Chef Virginia’s Asian twists on Tabouli is now a new favourite of mine as it popped with textures and flavour with a nice heat in the background from the Chilli Oil incorporated into the Tabouli. This is one of her new additions to the menu and it hits your palate in all the right ways.

The various meat-based skewers on offer were cooked to perfection as they were juicy and nicely seasoned. I can imagine the work that @virginiacheong puts in by mincing all the ingredients by hand to create the mixture for the Lamb Kofta Skewers as you can identify the ingredients when you bite into the skewers.

As l have previously tried their Manoush from dining here in the past, I can tell that all their bread-based doughs for the Pita Bread and Manoush are always made fresh in-house so you can expect fluffy yet nicely baked Lebanese bread at Cafe Tabouli.

Great food and place for morning cafes!

Local cafe with great food in chill and casual atmosphere.

It’s a pretty big cafe - I’ve seen about 20 tables. It seemed adequately staffed to serve all of them effectively on a Sunday morning. Outdoor seatings are limited to several, but there are many other bright spots just inside the venue, near the windows. Even though it’s a big venue, there were dividers cleverly placed, separating noise and creating cozy feels.

Serving was really big. Few tables that left while I was there all had leftovers on their plate. It worried me a little thinking it might mean bad taste, but after I had my plate, I understood it due to its sheer size.

I had Southern Fried Chicken on Waffles which was on special, which turned out fantastic. The chicken was tender, the waffles were crispy, and the chilli hollandaise and maple sauce drizzled on top made it all wonderfully go well together. Here’s hoping they will keep this menu for long time.

Visited for brekky during a recent stay with co-workers for a trade show at Olympic Park. The food was so good, we came back again. Friendly staff & great food/coffee. Highly recommend the Shakshuka with Kafta’s added!

One of the best cafes I've been to. The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly and the place had a really nice vibe! By far the best garlic prawns I've ever had in my life! Highly recommended!!

Superb supreme pizza! Lamb manoush was good too. Wonder if orange juice is freshly squeezed? It tasted nice too!

The staff were outstandingly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and a inexpensive. My chai was nice and my friends enjoyed their coffee too. The music was nice and chill and had a super relaxing atmosphere.

What wonderful owners of Cafe Tabouli. Had the experience to come in and check the place out from a friend, the menu has sooooo many amazing options to choose from but the Spicy Bouli was my favourite! I would highly recommend this place. 🙌
