Cupbap King

I have been wanting to eat at Cupbap King for a while now and am glad I did. I purchased a plain salad and a fish katsu curry rice bowl. The food was fresh and made to order. Prices were excellent and there is a huge variety of dishes on the menu. Highly recommended, I will be returning!

I ordered the salad with karaage chicken plus two mains (the vege tofu and the beef bibimbap). The lady who served me was very friendly and happy to accommodate when I didn't want rice with my mains. I appreciated that she took the time to pick some good bits out when serving my tofu, so I didn't miss out on anything. The serves were very generous. The price was great too; only $7 for the salad with fried chicken. I asked for her suggestion for dressing and she was right about the toasted sesame. The bibimbap was good with nice pieces of mushroom, but a little sweeter than I'd have liked. The highlight was the fried chicken. The mix of spice was excellent, with hints of ginger and a solid spicy kick. Next time I'm in Ryde I'd like to try the karaage fish. For foodcourt options, this place offers satisfying taste at a good price.

Restaurant quality food in a food court! I liked my Japanese curry and pork bulgogi and the teriyaki bun was good too for food court food! The best place in this food court!

Try their Beef bulgogi it’s seriously the best

They have improved thier kimchi rice. It isn't to hot (chilli), which is perfect.

2.4 - The menu might have been reduced since Covid because some of the items people refer to aren't available for ordering. I ordered a Seafood Yakisoba Noodle, which had a quality amount of seafood in it. However, I didn't like the sweetness of the food. Some of the small clams had sand in it still. It was also a really long wait to have it made, at the 16 minute mark. Friendly enough, but even though there was only 1 other order, it exceeded the time I would expect to make. Maybe picking up a box of takeaway might be better?

As lo ways cold

Haven't eaten here since pre-covid and place has gone downhill. No hospitality from customer attendant, and as previous reviewer noted, a long wait time to prepare meal despite having no other customers (15 mins.) Tempura was horrid, rock hard and burnt. Very dissappointing.

The lady me served a paper cup of fried chicken for $3, ONLY to find out she snuck 3 prawn chips under the paper cup to make the chicken look bigger. I got ripped off... the lady seemed so nice but it was a scam, NEVER going back there.

First time trying as the menu seemed interesting. Got a karage chicken cup where there were hidden prawn crackers which took most of the cups space(Staff or sign didnt mention the prawn crackers) . Udon and rice cup overcooked and soggy.
