Five White Street Surgery

Been going to this surgery for 31yrs. Dr's may change, but the care you receive is way beyond and above anything you can think of. The staff know me by my voice. They're always so wonderful and bring a smile to your face. Even though I have a specific Dr, I never have a problem seeing the other 2. They also get in great locums for when 1 is on leave. They all think and consider the businesses needs as well as the patients. I'll be going to this surgery forever.

Dr. Prageshan is the most professional and kindest doctor I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. He takes his time to care about his patients and relay the best information available. He goes above and beyond to ensure your well looked after. I would highly recommend Dr. Prageshan as your personal practitioner.

Kind, considerate, compassionate, friendly. From the lovely reception to doctor, these people make you feel like a person.
They make themselves totally accessible and go above and beyond literally.
In all the practices I've been to over the last 5 decades, no one has been this good. Oh, and did I mention the waiting times, like when you go to a surgery and they make you wait 30 mins an hour or more? Well, here, they barely make you wait if at all. Fair dinkum.

Dr Thiru Pragesh I've found to be very thorough during my visits here and sometimes I feel more like a friend than a patient.

Dr Patterson has been our family doctor too for all my childrens lives. They are 27 and 25 years old now and rarely need to see him. when my daughter was 4years old Dr Patterson rushed to our house to care for her. When my husband was sick he was so caring and respectful. Dr Patterson spoke to my son like a loving father and always remembered to ask how they were going in school and then uni and at work. Dr Patterson was always respectful of our beliefs and ideas and discussed them practically thoroughly and thoughtfully when caring for us all. One day we saw him at Jibbon beach (probs hoping not to run into any patients) but still he took the time out to speak to us, the children couldnt believe he was outside the surgery they were over the moon. When our children drew pictures for him he would always put them up in his surgery. He has seen us through all our ups and downs and always given the best possible treatment and advice..He always made us feel like we were his only patients but of course we never were. He was so thorough he never assumed he always got to the bottom of it and the reasons why. He saved our lives and we are so grateful to have had him. We love him and wish him the best and most well deserved retirement ever. We will miss that beautiful caring smile so much but when we think of him resting and enjoying a holiday cocktail it brings us much joy. Thankyou Dr Michael Patterson for the high quality healthcare and kindness you have always given to us. You will always be in our family stories and we will always love you. From the Fenner family.

Dr Patterson has been our family GP for 20+ years. Our health is in no safer hands than his. Attentive, timely, caring, and accurate. You cannot ask for more.

The surgery closes at 11.00 on a Saturday rather than 11.30 as advertised on their website. It caused much confusion for an elderly patient.

I wish I could give zero stars and still review. I have a very sick one year old who already has had one visit to he hospital this week, he woke up this morning with a rash all over his body. I called Dr Patterson doctors and was told I would be seen as soon as we got there due to it being a emergency.After waiting for half a hour with a sick one year old and a three year old I was told by reception that I was next, over forty minutes later we finally saw a doctor. I understand there were other sick patients waiting, I just wish reception would have told me how long the wait would have been, I would have gone for a walk or done anything other than sit in a waiting room with no kids toys or entertainment, full of sick people. To say I'm annoyed and disappointed is a understatement..

The cow at the front desk needs to be taught how to speak to customers. You’re a receptionist love, don’t get too ahead of yourself xx
