Golden Recipes

Beautiful food and great price. I looked at getting takeaway from another wagga business and it said their meals were just over $25, I checked golden recipes and it said $20.80, but when I picked it up it was only $17.80 for the most expensive meal I got. I bought honey chicken and sweet and sour pork..bith were delicious. Will be coming back again for sure.

Haven’t been to Wagga in couple years came here for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault it at all. Lovey polite and friendly. Highly recommend

One of the few options around the wagga area that is still serving food after 9pm. Based on this alone i decided to give Golden Recipes a go. Ordered over the phone and was told 15 minutes and sure enough that’s exactly what it was. Staff were friendly and courteous and i didn’t have to wait to be served. The meat was lovely and soft and the food was fresh and flavoursome. Also picked up some fortune cookies to complete the meal ;)

What a great little find. The food was amazing. Best chicken and sweet corn soup I've ever had. We couldn't fault anything. Service very friendly. We felt very welcome. If you want great food, this is the place to go.

Visiting from Melbourne for the weekend, #roadtrip, staying at a nearby hotel.

Completely clueless when it came to local eateries on a Sunday night, where the town was so dead I thought perhaps there had been a Zombie apocalypse and no one had told us.
Anyway, driving on a darkish road noticed the Golden Recipes sign was lit up, so a quick stop, a little nervous to take a chance on country Chinese, but had a craving, so gave it a go.
Glad I did.
Ordered combination rice - pretty good
Lemon chicken- pretty good
Satay skewers - entree - good, excellent sauce

The server was lovely, and whilst I was getting takeaway- hot tip: if you are planning on
Dining in, bring a very warm jacket, it was actually colder inside that outside.
However- the restaurant was clean, spacious, and well set up, although some ambient music would have been a nice touch.

Def 5 overall - with the caveat that Its Wagga Wagga, not China town in Melbourne. Therefore adjust your expectations, and you will be more than satisfied with your dining experience.
Ps. LOVE the takeout box- sorry didn’t pic food, ate it.

Always great food. The store is always so clean, it really deserves the 5 star rating it has on the door. I have shopped here for years now and have never gotten a bad meal. It is worth every penny.

Their foods and services are great. Fair price, bigger serving compare to other places. Better value compare to other restaurant. My experience totally different from Christine. I strong believe that no one will rude to you without reason

the best short soup I've ever had. the fried rice is so choice and the Mongolian lamb was nice.
