Every visit to Barber on Boyle with Alex is a great experience. Not only will you get a great hair and beard trim but also a heap of laughs. I’ve visited frequently for years and the customer experience is exceptional.

In the beginning, God made Adam and God made Eve. And when the first locks of Man got out of control and Adam needed a haircut and a beer on a Friday afternoon, God created this very barbershop.

I’ve had my hair cut up and down the east coast of Australia and have never found a salon with a better vibe. To begin with, the Master of Ceremonies (mere ‘Barber’ barely does justice his energy or enthusiasm) was cutting two chairs at once - you read right.

And if that wasn’t entertainment enough, while you waited you could challenge your fellow patrons to a game of pool on the full sized pool table!

The cut I got should be photographed like the first time Charles Darwin laid eyes upon the platypus, so that barbers for generations to come can gaze upon the majesty of a perfectly executed skin fade. Nary a hair out of place - thoroughly impressed with my cut, and at an exceptionally reasonable price.

Located conveniently next to the station, across the road from the pub, down the road from great coffee and decked out with amazing interior fittings, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else in Sutherland. Worth returning for.

This place is legitimately the best cut I've found in the shire. And one of the most reasonably priced (I offered extra money but it wasn't accepted). To make it better, the conversation was genuine and funny. I've found my new go-to for haircuts.
