Can't fault it. The service was top notch, friendly and familiar. The food was amazing, may have needed a bit more seasoning over all, but that is personal taste and was easily fixed. Came here with my husband on a whim, did not regret it. The atmosphere is lovely. Definitely somewhere I want to eat again and bring friends.

We came here 2 nights ago and enjoyed it that much we decided to come back for more as we had food envy for what we missed prior.

The food is delicious. The first night we had a mix of dumplings. Tonight we had beef with black bean sauce, king prawns with vermicelli in hot pot and white rice. For drinks, we ordered lemon drop martini and a Toblerone cocktail.

Definitely coming back in the future for more fresh food and experience the top service yet again.

We had an amazing lunch at Hong Kong Chef. Dumplings were amazing - full of flavour and beautifully presented. Better than most Sydney dumpling places hands down. We discovered everything is made on site which accounts for the fresh, unique dishes. Service was attentive and very friendly. Accessible for wheelchairs. Highly recommend!

The breakfast and lunch snacks were very good, but there was a white woman in her forties with a high ponytail. Her service attitude was not good. When we ordered, she looked at us impatiently and was very unhappy. The polite behavior made our meal very awkward. My friend and I ordered a lot of food and had a very unpleasant meal.

Delicious food! The food was quick to come out and is nice and hot.

Can’t fault a single thing! 10/10 for wait times, staff efficiency, food quality and taste to the venues decor with their lovely waiters/waitresses.

Perfect date night destination.

First time visiting this restaurant and loved their ambiance. The food was very delicious especially the Szechuan spicy soup with fish, the portion was generous and not that spicy as I thought. We arrived at 5:30pm and the service was fast and efficient. The staff were friendly and attentive. We haven't tried their dim sim yet so will definitely come back again.

Delicious meals from ordering to receiving the first dish was only a few minutes really enjoyed the Duck spring rolls will def return to try the main meals next time

If you are looking to try Korean BBQ then I highly recommend Hong Kong Chef.

A wonderful array of salads were served along with our choice of meats.

To slow cook on a small table BBQ was a wonderful experience. 😋

Amazing food and excellent customer service. Menulog delivered only part of our large order and the owner went above and beyond to recook all the missing items and deliver personally. We were all very impressed! Thank you!

We normally eat in and its generally good but I ordered take away last night. I got the "vegetarian" deep fried Tofu in Sweet and Sour sauce, and it had some sort of meat in there? Pork I think? It wasn't great! Great place though and it definitely won't stop me going back!

Visited twice. Great food, great staff, groovy vibes, and one of the most delicious Chinese meals we've ever had. Service was speedy, but one patrons meal was close to 30min late on the second visit. Great experience nonetheless, and I'm certain that this is not a common slip-up from them.

Really surprised how good this place was. Really fresh and tasty. Will definitely make this place a regular.

Food and service was excellent.
The only thing that spoilt the experience was the
night we went was 100% humidity and their A/C wasn't working. We were dripping in sweat. Maybe check ahead first that it's fixed if you're going at a time it's hot or very humid.

Delicious food - the lemon chicken and sizzling beef I've ordered both times I've eaten here is absolutely delicious. The pan friend dumplings have been absolutely delicious too.

While it's a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, the quality is also a cut above - a Sydney dining experience in the Illawarra. Definitely going to keep eating here.
