We haven't been to the tropical for years . The food is even more delicious and the staff especially Irene are very friendly, it was great to see her again. We will certainly be back more often.

This has been my local Chinese for over 20 years. I have eaten in many times (make sure you book). It is BYO. They probably haven't remodelled in 20 years but I come here for the food. The menu isn't pages long where they try to cook every asian cuisine every heard of, but rather it solid and covers all the usual chinese favourites.

The servings are very generous and meals are reasonably priced. Within 3 minutes walk there is two Thai restaurants and another chinese restaurant, and we still favour this 'ol favourite.

It is not the place for a fancy night out, but a great place for a good Chinese meal.

I am been coming here and collecting take away for over 20 years. Good. solid, tasty chinese food. The ambiance is a bit 'hole in the wall' but it is BYO and keeps us coming back.
