I travelled from Penrith for work, being stuck at the worksite we had to eat bland food for 4 days. Found this place and WOW the food was AMAZING. I had the lamb madras, it was so delicious!

Delighted to be served food at 9 pm on a Tuesday night. Great restaurant, great food and great attitude from the staff. Highly recommended.

That’s a good Indian for Sydney, very good for Engadine.
Both the curries and naan are tasty and cooked well. Quality is consistent over the 5 times I’ve been there, you really can’t go wrong, highly recommended!
PS: the comment saying they won’t last long because the serving wasn’t big enough made me laugh, shows how some people value quantity over quality unfortunately. Serving size is fine.

Called, no answer, but a prompt call back and my order was in. Was ready in quick time and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our butter chicken/naan bread. Oh and our rice was cooked perfectly also.

Just had a delivery from Indian Masala. The food is beautifully flavoured and was delicious. Service efficient and can highly recommend.

Ordered food via ubereats. And holy shittttt the food did NOT disappoint. I often frequent Sutherland to get decent indian but this one is even better IMO. Finally!! Food that's not westernised and ppl that understand EXTRA CHILLI. Biryani, butter chicken and all the naan were unreal. I will be dining in with my family next time.

One of the most authentic Indian food I have tasted outside India and for first time in Australia. May not have the nicest atmosphere but very delicious food and a comprehensive menu. Pav Bhaaji I could never find in any Indian restaurants here in Australia but this restaurant had it and tasted exactly like you would get in streets of Mumbai. I will be going here 1-2 times per week. Thank you for delivering the authentic food!

Indian Masala was absolutely spectacular. The owner AJ owns another Indian restaurant in Padstow that I've been going to for many many years now - so when I heard he had opened one up in Engadine close to my partner, I was absolutely thrilled. We ate here tonight for the first time and enjoyed a lovely catchup chat with AJ. He's extremely kind, hospitable, and clearly knows good food. The chicken 65 was probably one of the best entree's I've ever eaten and their butter chicken + naan's hit the spot. Delicious!!!! 10/10 every time, whether that be at Padstow or Engadine. Thank you as always AJ :)

My partner and I took a chance on eating here for the first time, so glad we did. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and can say that is the best I've eaten in a very long time.

Really nice staff, great quality meat and all at a reasonable price.

Came here for a birthday dinner after walking past it many times and being intrigued. Loved the variety available and being able to order a number of unique dishes including dosa, aloo paratha, masala aloo bonda. The young lady serving us did a wonderful job and was friendly and lovely. Also our toddler was welcomed and enjoyed her hot chips. Really enjoyed our experience. Thank you!

It’s a delightful place to eat flavoursome and beautifully presented Indian food! They go out of their way to accommodate dietary restrictions. Also, the restaurant is very clean.

The food was really amazing.super fast service the quality of food was definitely worth 5 stars. It was so delicious. employee was super nice.our First experience was absolutely wonderful.

We went for a Eagle Rock track and decided to go to few kilometres to the opposite side just for a Lunch at around 4, however it was worth it. Food was delicious and especially quantity was very good compared to many other restaurants. My friend and I tried Butter panir masala, garlic naan and lassi. Curry was enough for 2 person. Food quality was also good. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would say it was worth going few kilometres back from our home direction for the delicious food.

We were fortunate to have had the experience from the Chef's dishes when he worked at Hammondville. Our whole family now travel half an hour for his dishes.
I can't recommend this traditional Indian restaurant enough.
I just wish he would open another restaurant near us, I'm sure he'll do great anywhere he goes.

I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that this Indian has opened up in Engadine. We moved to the area two years ago and we (until now) have not found a local restaurant that we’ve been that keen on. I don’t both getting takeaway because nothing has been worth it. I’m glad to say the struggle is over and we finally have an incredible restaurant right here on our doorstep. Everything we ordered was incredible and I can’t wait to bring my extended family here to give it a try!! Thank you!
