Had lunch with a friend who was a regular-
Every dish is made from scratch - it shows in the taste (really authentic) and how the food satisfies but not leaving one feel bloated.
Lucky enough to have the fried ice cream- also extraordinary in its unique nuanced taste you find only in desserts made on premises by cooks at the top of their craft.

Excellent service, extremely friendly girl serving us. Good ambience. The songs brought us back to the memory lane. Had a glimpse of the kitchen. Very neat and tidy. The prices are on par. The food was tasty. Absolutely nothing lacking.

These guys are the best. Best service, best food and best value. Better rare beef pho than you’d find in most inner west suburbs

Billy’s Bowl is an excellent family friendly restaurant in Engadine. It’s a Asian food lovers dream come true as the place specialises in Vietnamese, Malaysian as well as Chinese delicacies.

The place is easy to find and very close to trains and buses. Plenty of street parking right outside.

I visited here with my family and we all enjoyed the food and the service. The taste was very authentic and meal portions generous. The service was quick and the staff are very kind and obliging.

Great experience, awesome food, especially for the price. A family of 5 can easily eat for under $100. Salt and pepper squid is one of the best. The omelette (pictured) is fantastic. Pineapple fried rice was good too. As for the combination pho, I have had better elsewhere but it is also nice. I would highly recommend this neighbourhood joint.

We ordered the 5 Spice Pork Roll and Fried Chicken Wings for entree and Rare Beef Pho and Seafood Laksa for main. Everything was delicious.
Although we were the only people eating in the restaurant at 12pm, the take away department was very busy.
Service was excellent and fast.

Lovely owner! Had the beef pho and it was the best I’ve tried in the Sutherland shire, reminded me of ones in Marrickville. Me goreng was also great

Free delivery think was Friday and Saturday no inflated uber price and delivery.
Both times we have been here.
Staff while ordering are so polite and helpful with questions if asked.
All the food we have had exceeded our expectations.
Will return again when hungry another time.

Went to this restaurant for the first time tonight and was nicely surprised by the quality of food and how reasonable the price was too. We had the sizzling lamb and Szechuan chicken tonight, but they have quite a big menu so there is plenty to try out in future. Will definitely go back.

Billy's bowl is an excellent place with a variety of foods, Aussie, Malaysian, Vietnamese and last but not least, Chinese. My Favourite is the Beef Laksa, where you can choose how hot it is, mild will create a nice warm feeling and yet the hot can cause a large sweat! The Lemon chicken and Mongolian lamb is excellent. You have to try Billy's bowl, its dine in or take away!

The sliced beef pho is absolute comfort food with a huge side of "Delicious" in a very generous & filling serve of goodness 👌✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

One word. Amazing !
We had the Spicy Laksa, beef Pho and chicken Wings.
The laksa was the perfect amount of spice and The pho reminded me of the ones I had in Vietnam.
I didn’t really want to get the chicken wings as I’ve never really enjoyed them. These ones though, woah. They were not just wings thrown into the fryer. They were crispy and full of flavour.
Further, the serving sizes are generous. We both had enough left over for lunch.
Cannot wait to try the rest of the menu.

I have eaten Pho, all over Sydney, I can't get enough of the stuff. I am afraid the quality of what we have right here in Engadine at Billy's Bowl might be lost on many of those who haven't tried it before and aren't sure what that mysterious bowl might contain. Even if you are a meat and 3 veg. type, give it a go. We have the best here in Engadine and if you try it at Billy's Bowl you won't be sorry. That isn't to mention all the other fine dishes that they have at Billy's Bowl. There is a huge menu that covers most, if not all your favourite Asian dishes. I still have to try many of them. Why? Because, even when I have made up my mind try something else. I order the Pho, but the chicken wings are great, five spice pork rolls, satay and sang choy bow are all delicious. Service is professional, staff are wonderful. About time we had something more than just sweet and sour and fried rice, here. Thanks guys for bringing the best of Asian cuisine to us in Engadine.
