Great real estate agents. I have used both Suzanne and Dax 3 times for both purchasing and selling. As a seller they have always had my best interest in the sale, working always to the target price. As a buyer they worked with both parties to ensure everybody is happy. Too many shire agents are only interested in selling it quickly, and work for the purchaser from the minute the sign goes up.

Buying - Suzanne spent countless hours over a lengthy period showing us properties and understanding our likes & dislikes. She is practical, honest and forthright about what we needed to consider or compromise on. If you’re serious about buying the right property for yourself, be prepared to be honest about your circumstances. Be certain of your budget range (otherwise you’re tyre kicking and wasting everyone’s time) and, despite what you may read in the news, don’t be unrealistic thinking you will get the bargain of the century and you’re the only potential buyer who should have the red carpet rolled out for you and the champagne waiting at the door. Obviously, the agents obligation is to the Vendor but having developed a good, honest relationship with Suzanne saved us a lot of wasted time viewing properties that were never going to meet our requirements.

Selling - Suzanne and her team did an amazing job in a hard market, providing us with excellent advice and encouragement. It would have been easy for her to recommend some offers to simply move the house but that is not her style. Nor does she engage in wasting buyers time with bait advertising low prices (that vendors won’t accept) or pressuring about auctions and offers that don’t exist. Plenty of other agents use all the buzz words to obtain a listing (plans, strategies etc) but push them for the substance and it is wafer thin. Suzanne has a great understanding of the property market and despite our thoughts about withdrawing and staying put she advised we leave on market throughout Christmas. The Abode teams efforts did not take a holiday over Christmas/New Year despite the office being “closed” and that is when the right buyer came along. A perfect fit for our house and we are thrilled to be handing over the keys to someone who will love it as much as we have whilst still making it their own. We had no doubts about trusting Suzanne (and her team) to get the job done in a difficult market and, with patience and grace, she did!
