The Gardens Cafe & Function Centre

I had a lamb and vegie pie here and it was exceptional.

I had intended to just get a donut for my daughter but as I got to ordering a tray of these golden pies were put in the warmer. They looked so good, I had to get one. And I'm glad i did, it was amazing. Good price and super friendly service too.

First time back here in about 8yrs and wow. The little café has certainly been turned up to another level! The staff was great, so approachable, friendly, patient and professional. We ordered an Iced Caramel Latte, and a Vanilla Thickshake; and by god they were the best we've had in a long time! 🙌 Would recommend anyone wanting a quality drink to go there on their way for a walk around the gardens!

We had my Mum’s 80th birthday on Saturday afternoon & the service was 5 star. Bridie was so accommodating & anything we needed she went out of her way to get for us. All staff were brilliant & we would definitely recommend this function centre. Nothing was too hard & Bridie clearly loves her job & is very good at!

Great restaurant. Someone told in the comment section that this is a well kept secret. I agree. Food tastes awesome. Price is reasonable. Portion may not be the best. However, this is a small restaurant. Only two tables. Therefore you may not get seat available. We had beatroot salad and duck spring roll. Both are too good. They had icecream as well. Nice behaving stuffs.

The service was prompt and very polite. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty.
Next trip out there, I'll try the lunch items :)

Loved it! Beautiful spot, right next to the gardens and aviary, coffee was amazing banana bread was sooo good! Got eggs Benny and pancakes for breakfast they were beautiful 10/10 would reccomend

We were blown away with the amazing service at this cafe. Me and my partner both have tricky dietary requirements and they went above and beyond to not only cater for us but put in extra effort to make sure we both had a super delicious option to eat! We are still raving about the place and it was a highlight of our trip. It was the best steak sandwich we've ever had!

The gardens were AMAZING. The staff, location and food were absolutely spectacular. We held our sons first birthday there and it was unbelievable. The food was delicious, the staff went above and beyond and the owners were absolutely amazing to deal with. It’s the perfect spot for a function as the space is just beautiful! Recommend this place 10/10!

Been waiting for this cafe to reopen after lockdown. The new owners have down a great job. Its nice and bright and clean. Coffee and juice was great and i really enjoyed the bacon and egg bun

We held my mother in laws wake at the reception centre here and it was beautiful. Brent and staff were very accommodating and the food was amazing. The location is peaceful and was very fitting for a send off. Highly recommended for all occasions.

Went in today to get afternoon tea and the girl serving us was extremely lovely. Best service and amazing food. Had this amazing face paint on and the most amazing attitude. Would definitely recommend coming here

Right from the friendly greeting when you walk in the door to the coffee that is perfect with the smashed avo that is the bomb The Gardens is the perfect place for a quiet catch up with friends or a family get together with their grazing boxes available to take with you to wander through the Botanic Gardens. if i could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Nice too get hot chips and ice creams for all very relaxing.

Great donuts they were so fresh, fluffy and hot and the lady who served me with the face paint on was so lovely, big thumbs up to her!

Booked for brunch. Great menu, very good prices, terrific venue and service. Loved it.
