The burgers here are great! I tried the Americano and poutine fries and both hit the spot. The poutine is made with halloumi cheese which has a similar squeaky texture to cheese curd. The burger was really good and messy. The only feedback would be to make the patties the same smashed consistency as their Instagram feed. On Insta, the patties are smashed really thin and cooked dark and crispy whereas the patties I got were in between a smashed and regular patty.

Overall it's still an amazing burger and at $15.50 for a double patty, double cheese and bacon burger I'd say it's good value for money 👌

Any time you're heading to the Gong, make sure you add in a pit stop to Albion Park, and go to Joe's Milkbar.

This place gets busy and deservingly so. Great burgers, the Americano is a must! Fried chicken and everything else on the menu is just fantastic.

Prices are great, and serving sizes are generous. You'll smash your meal and be craving another one immediately.

Hundred percent top 5 burger places I've been . You can tell they know how to make a good burger and have found that sweet spot of old school milk bars and new school flavours without being too trendy and hipster.

Highlights for me was crispy smashed patties, house made buns and pickles, however the onion rings are the best I've ever had in the entire universe🤯🤯😭🤯🤯

Absolutely the best burgers I have had in years! We had the American and it was packed with bacon and cheese, and as juicy as could be. Paired with the loaded fries/poutine (Cajun spice, gravy and cheese curds) and just the nicest, most courteous staff. (also got a couple fantastic glazed donuts). Great milkshakes and coffees too.

Top notch burgers. Best I’ve had in years!! You really need to try it, you won’t regret it.

Americano was moist and scrumptious but cheese burger was on a dry side (they may have forgotten to put burger sauce?)
Fresh salad and always crunchy hot chips!

Don’t let the location or look of the cafe fool you. The food here is to die for! If you love a sweet and sour combination definitely try the sour apple and cinnamon donut!

Service was friendly, prices were reasonable. If only the place had an ocean view! 😍

I recently had the pleasure of eating burgers from this extraordinary burger place, and let me just say, it was an absolute delight!

I chose the Americano, the patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavor, while the melty cheese oozed out with every bite. The combination of fresh, high-quality ingredients elevated the entire experience to another level. Not only were the burgers top-notch, but the sides and were equally outstanding.

The service was exemplary as well. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions.

To top it all off, the pricing was great for the quality and portion sizes. I felt like I received excellent value for my money, considering the exceptional taste and the overall experience provided.

In conclusion, this burger place is a true gem that stands out from the rest. The culinary experience I had here surpassed my expectations in every way, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Yummmm! Had the beef double burger. Delicious! Thin beef and bacon but ended up perfect size in total I think. Also had yummy loaded fries (the one with gravy and cheese). No photo of the food :( ate it :P but this was us waiting for hubby to bring the food to us... highly recommend!

I've been coming to this place since the beginning , the years Joe's has been open the quality of the food has never decreased and is constantly delicious.

I make the trip from Shellharbour because these are the best Fried Chicken Burgers you'll find in the whole of the Illawarra!

Very good burgers. I didn’t think another positive review would make a difference but this place is worthy of praise. Good job folks! They even had a gluten free/egg free wrap for my daughters burger and it tasted pretty good.
