Absolutely loved the experience! We had a dinner on a quiet Sunday evening and were very impressed with the food! We tried some items from the menu and some specials too. Every dish was delicious and creative, everything was thought through and cooked perfectly. The service was great, the interior is very pleasant to the eye and comfy, beautiful sunset view added to the overall experience. This place is such a gem, highly recommend to visit!

Best fine dining experience in Cronulla and the Shire. Every dish was delicious and outstanding. Intimate location with a beautiful sunset view over the bay. They use local produce for the meat and seafood. Great wine selection and the service was also great. Can’t recommend more highly!

Outstanding birthday lunch at Waterline by the bay. The entrees of mussel and Heirloom Tomato were sublime. Whilst the mains of Barramundi and Cauliflower (yes cauliflower) were also outstanding. Highly recommended. And all gluten free for us.

Lovely food, attentive hospitality and nice view, this restaurant really made my birthday lunch special, initially when I drove past to park my vehicle it looks just like the entrance of a nice apartment block however as you walk closer you realise it’s a restaurant, will return again,

We took my partners parents for New Year’s Eve and it was a wonderful experience. The service was friendly, prompt and helpful, the drinks and drink recommendations were perfect and the food was amazing. We had the eye fillet with duck fat roasted potatoes, rainbow trout and the corn chicken and all were beautifully cooked. The tomato salad with burrata is a must to order too! Thank you to the team, you were all so friendly and it was a great way to see out 2023.

Absolutely beautiful food. We had the mussels, lobster ravioli and king prawns. Just WOW! Amazing service, very relaxed and lovely staff. Will be back soon. Thank you.

Awesome place overlooking gunnamatta bay … be sure to book a balcony table the outlook is great. Service was friendly and attentive, cocktails 5 star and food well presented and tasty would definitely recommend.

We have been doing Christmas Lunch at restaurants for well over 20 years now. Usually we travel to Sydney CBD & have tried local too. This year we decided to stay close to home now we have a baby granddaughter.
This is by far the BEST Christmas lunch we have ever had the pleasure of consuming!
The seafood entree was sensational, followed by Turkey (with a beautiful maple syrup) cooked ham, roasted carrots, a rocket & parmesan salad with a pear type coleslaw. And the desert was to die for, traditional Christmas pudding or a plate pavlova- YUMBUCKETS!
It was not only the food that made this the best lunch ever, it was the way it was served!
There were 12 adults and our baby granddaughter at the table and the seafood for example was served in 4 big bowls and everyone picked what they wanted, when they wanted.
The service was sensational too. Sally attending our table and wiping it down between courses, never having the need to get the waiters attention!
The food, the service, the tranquility of the location (being away from the hussle & bussle of Cronulla’s CBD) PERFECT!
I do t know why I’m sharing this as this has to be Sydney’s best kept secret!

So many great experiences at Waterline - Family dinners, work Christmas parties, client lunches and the wine nights .... so much fun! It's our favorite go to restaurant in Cronulla - located out of the hustle and bustle, you can always find a parking spot. The atmosphere is intimate, welcoming and tranquil and the view and sunsets just beautiful. The food is top notch and the wine list expansive. The team at Waterline know how to provide outstanding service and their knowledge of wine is exceptional. Definitely highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

If you want a relaxed meal with no pressure on your usual alocated 2hr table window, this place is for you. Beautiful food, tentative staff and great drinks. 5 stars on all levels.

Family dinner celebration. All the food was beautiful... only one sort of let down..the risotto. Our diner said it was very very nice but could have a bit more flavour. I had beef Wellington which was beautiful, my husband had whole flounder, he said was lovely. Our other dinners said the food was lovely. Great night out

Regular diner here and the food is always amazing, not to mention the view! Staff are all really well trained, know their wines (love a good recommendation!). We do miss Erin, and the previous mussels in white wines saice recipe tho!

Ethan and the staff were fantastic, very accommodating and helpful. It was a small group of 5 for my wife’s 50th. Everything was spot on, a special thank you to Ethan for looking after everything from the booking to getting the cake organised. Thanks again, we look forward to coming back. I wanted it to be a special occasion and it was!
