Huong Lua

The quality of food is exceptional. Good vietnamese beer. I suggest to give red wine a miss though. Very refreshing summer rolls and salad. Salt n pepper squid is really light and well balance. Beef rib is really really tender. And we loved the dessert! Nice healthy summer meal :)

ps only one suggestion for the dessert: we were thinking coconut icecream and maybe coconut flakes would fit better to the black rice and mango-sorbet? ..but it is also delicious the way it is now ;)

Great vietnamese food, a little pricey but great presentation, quality and service. Great selection of interesting dishes.

Love then all... authentic rice paper wrapped crispy Spring Rolls, hugh bowl of Pho Hanoi, tasty Com Suon, tender & crispy Pork Knuckle (better than the German's), mouth- watering crispy pancake. Orh the drinks...ice coffee, avo-coco blended, mung beans, red beans and green coconut jelly iced drink.
Excellent service and darn good value of money. Best in North shore. Will be back.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Although the service was a bit slow they apologised profusely. When the food is this good, you forgive a wait though. We had the fresh rice paper rolls, Vietnamese pancake and a Vietnamese noodle dish and all were delicious. Serving sizes were very generous - we had leftovers even though we were with the teenage son who has an enormous appetite! A great meal and highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited Huong Lua on a Saturday evening at 6pm. We were two adults and one toddler and had reserved a table.

Everything was really clean and tidy. My daughter received plastic cutlery and plates without asking which was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

We had two vermicelli bowls, one with prawns and one with beef. My daughter had sweet potato fries.

The food was outstanding. Decent portions and super fresh. We finished everything.

We also had the smoked banana with tapioca for dessert which was a dream. My wife and i inhaled it.

Based on our experience, we can highly recommend this place and we'll definitely go back next time we're in Chatswood.

Whether it be a big or small group, I always enjoy eating here. The serving sizes are great and all the dishes I've tasted have been delicious. Fried spring rolls are definitely one of the highlights. They also have a great range of sweet drinks. Certainly looking forward to the next time I eat here.

Excellent taste! Great place to go

We had a great time celebrating year end last Fri for the prayer group. Food was great and generous. Service was swift. Will definitely visit again near future. It is a neighborhood gem!

Have been here a few times and is always great. Best Vietnamese in Chatswood. Just had papaya salad with prawns. Also the pan fried Barramundi. Both were very tasty and very fresh.

After a big day in Chatswood, we just wanted to relax so we decided to take a short walk down to the
Railway St restaurants. We had Mamak in mind, where we could try some of their Malaysian street food but after arriving there, we found was a cue of people 'a mile long' waiting for a table.

We didn't particularly like the idea of waiting, so we took a further stroll down the street and stumbled
across the Huong Lua.
As we walked past, we were greeted by a very cheerful waitress, then the waiter pleasantly asked if
we were looking for a table.
They were so inviting that we couldn't say no, which turned out to be our best decision of the
night.
We had some of the best Vietnamese food, the seared scallops were very flavorsome, the char split
prawns were to die for !! the pork, the Papaya salad.. every dish we ordered was fantastic, well what
can one say !!
The service was brilliant, even the owner/waiter came to the table to explain the menu, if you enjoy good Vietnamese food, the Huong Lua is highly recommended.

Possibly the best fried springs rolls in the lower north shore. I challenge you to correct me (please, as I wish more places were like this)

If you’ve been to VN (or out to Cabra) you know they don’t use egg wonton type wrappers on their fried spring rolls yet most places in Sydney do this...

Do yourself a favour and head to Huong Lua. The pork spring rolls are made in the “authentic” way using rice paper wrappers. Soft and tasty filling, in a crispy, ever so slightly chewy shell. Dipped in perfectly balanced fish sauce and you’re in heaven!

Service is super friendly too.

Great food, generous serving size and lovely staff. Recommend the Vietnamese Pancake and grilled pork vermicelli with spring rolls on the side. Will come back again!

Had dinner there last night before going to a show, we loved the food service was great. So happy to find a great Vietnamese restaurant. Will be back soon. Can see why it's so popular.

The best Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup -Pho in Chatswood or perhaps the best in north shore!
The recent menu change has improved the taste of Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup (Pho) significantly. I am very fuzzy with the taste of Pho. I often travel all the way to Western Sydney to enjoy my Pho in the last 25 years. In the early October, I have walked pass by Huong Lua and decide to give a try on their Pho from the new menu. I have instantly hooked with the taste of the soup after the first sip.
Yes, this restaurant is going to save hours of my travel time when I am craving for a Pho in the future. I highly recommending this restaurant to all the Pho lovers.

Simply wouldn't go any where else for food. Started lunches here since they opened, they had me at Pho~. We go everyday for lunch, they're always warm, friendly and quick with service.

If there's one dish to try, it's the Tomato and Chorizo rice! The Pho broth is unquestionably the best I've ever had.
