Burraneer Family Practice

I can't recommend Buraneer Family Practice enough! They are amazing and I feel in such good hands after having years of not so great care from another practice. DR Lucy France is my doctor, her wealth of knowledge in woman's health and her care for me over the last year with some issues I had have been fantastic. DR Lily is my 2.5 year old daughters DR and she is also amazing and makes Ella feel so comfortable so she is not afraid if we need to see the DR.
Finally Teri on reception is such a joy to talk to and always goes above and beyond to fit us in when required. Thank you for setting the bar so high team! Donna

This practice came reccomended to me after several bad experiences at another caringbah medical centre and I couldn't be happier that I've found this practice. I've seen 4-5 different doctors here for both myself and my baby and every single one has been amazing. I would highly reccomend this practice.

I recently visited Burraneer Family Practice and had the pleasure of interacting with Dean at the reception desk. I am writing this review to express my utmost satisfaction with the service provided by Dean, who was incredibly helpful, professional, and well-mannered throughout my visit.

What impressed me most about Dean was his willingness to go above and beyond to assist me. He patiently listened to my queries and promptly addressed any concerns I had.

Throughout my interaction with Dean, I found him to be attentive, courteous, and attentive to detail. He maintained a calm and composed demeanor, even during busy periods, which demonstrated his exceptional ability to multitask while providing personalised attention to each patient.

Dean's commitment to providing great service was evident in his interactions not only with me but also with other patients. Been going to this practice for a couple of years, staff is always friendly and helpful. I see Dr Manny he is awesome. I actually became a patient of his when he he was practising at my old doctors surgery whom I had been seeing for 10 years. He actually gave me a courtesy call to say he was heading to Burraneer Family Practice and said he was still happy to have me as a patient. I was so happy as I live in Cronulla and my old doctor was at ramsgate. Great medical practice.i also forgot to say that Doctor Manny is a great doctor he is so empathetic and knowledgeable. He listens and I have never felt rushed in a consultation.

I have been a patient at this wonderful practice for over 10 years mainly under the care of Dr Lucy France. There has never been a time over many visits where I have felt pressured to cut a consultation short and quite often I have probably been the cause of her next patient having to wait a little longer (sorry). I feel sure that Lucy always has my concerns at the heart of every decision we make and I know that I am being supported by a caring, knowledgeable health practitioner. Yep, I have to book appointments in advance which can be tricky, but the lovely reception staff will always do their best to fit in any urgent request even if it's with another doctor from time to time. Thankyou!!

I am so grateful for this Practice who have been taking such good care of myself and my family since I moved back to the shire. Unfortunately I had to go to a medical centre over the Christmas break ( only because Burraneer was closed, they go above and beyond to fit you in on the same day usually) & it was a reminder of why I choose Burraneer Family Practice. Kind doctors who take time to listen to your concerns. You never feel rushed and you always feel you are in safe hands. Thank you for the amazing work you do!

Gobsmacked by negative reviews ! This practice is wonderful. I've been a patient there for nearly 20 years, and take my children there. The reception staff are polite and helpful, and will always do their best to get you seen when and by whom you want. When I inevitably forget to get a new repeat for my regular medication until the last minute, they will scramble to make sure I get a script that day. The phones are constantly ringing and patients in and out, they do an amazing job. I'd be happy seeing any doctor there but must say my personal favourites are Dr France, Dr Bray, Dr Duncan-Brown and Dr Gabbot.

My husband and I found the care provided at Burraneer Family Practice to be excellent and thorough resulting in interventions to treat my husband’s serious cancer at a treatable stage. Dr Bray is an excellent doctor, not only kind, compassionate and patient, but also has assembled a first rate team of doctors, nurses and receptionists. Highly recommended.

I have been attending Burraneer Family Practice since I was little and now all three of my boys visit. We love Dr France, she is like family. We are lucky to have her.

I am staggered to read negative reviews about this practice. My family have been patients for years. My wife has been through breast cancer and I’ve had minor issues recently. The care we’ve been shown is akin to family. Dr. David Thomas who’ve I’ve been seeing most recently is learned, patient, thorough and empathetic... what more do you want in a doctor??? If you’re reading these reviews and contemplating wether or not to make this your preferred point of General Practitioners, I urge you to go along and see for yourself.

As for reviews relating to reception staff, have you seen how much work those people do? If it’s not the phone ringing, it’s making calls, if it’s not greeting patients, it’s seeing them out of an appointment and processing payment. If it’s not maintaining good filing systems, it’s compiling information on behalf of a patient. I am not in the medical profession, but even a punter like me can see that’s a demanding job.

I would give this practice 100 stars if I could.

This is an excellent practice. Patients are respected and given sufficient time to fully discuss issues with their doctor. All administrative staff are very helpful and friendly, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Honestly, I don’t know why here are any negative reviews, cause this family practise is really good. All doctors very professional, good with kids (and adults), always helpful. Highly recommended!

Some Doctors Haunt. Got free water and toilets. Got Aboriginal art. Got plenty of sunlight and access to from two spots. Place be rollin in cash like your GP.
