Bukhara Restaurant (Spice Temple of Bukhara)

This is one of the best Indian restaurants as the food is always consistently great. The mixed entrees with pungent flavours that will excite your taste buds are a must, spinach lamb sag and cauliflower and potatoes are our go to favourites. Enjoy!

What a lovely meal! Lots of vegetarian options, too. Especially loved the eggplant and their take on Peking Duck (pictured) and the stunning okra dish. Unfortunately, their freezer had failed so none of their 3 kulfis were available. Newly licensed and very reasonable pricing ($25 for a very nice rose!) The host is also very charming. Waitresses seem somewhat inexperienced (for example, we bought their wine but were also charged corkage. That was quickly resolved, though.) Will definitely be back!

Came in for take out Butter chicken and rice, asked if they did coconut rice and the man serving me was nice enough to make it for me even though it’s not on the menu. Was the nicest coconut rice i’ve had, better than Thai! Food also came out super quick and the butter chicken was amazing. Really well priced for the quality of food too! Will definitely be back, they clearly know how to make good food :)

We're visitors to the area, but picked up a takeaway last night and it was delicious. Everything was ready on time, the staff were very friendly, the restaurant looked spotless and it seemed like it had a lovely ambiance (we were just stopping by for pick up!). All 3 dishes were great, but the lamb in particular got a special mention for being perfectly tender. Great choice if you're looking for a local take away.

Recently moved to Caringbah and we found this gem of an Indian 🤤 we went with the old school favs as if these are great everything else will be (and we’ll come back) - butter chicken, tikka masala, onion bhajis, garlic naan and a saffron rice, all spot on, good flavour, plentiful portions, lots of soft and tender chicken in both!

Great find not far from home. The food service took a little longer than expected but it\well with the wait. We had a couple of Mauritian dishes, scallops for the entree, garlic naan... Everything was very tasty, with lots of sauce. We'll be back 🙏

Since I moved to the Shire 3 years ago I’ve been searching for an Indian takeaway that hits the spot, and this place has done it! The chicken biryani and tandoori chicken is to die for. The customer service is fantastic and delivery has been really fast the two times we have ordered here. Glad to say I have found my favourite Indian restaurant!

We got take away this evening. Everything was fabulous.
So Much flavour in everything from the veg samosas, lamb cutlets thru to the chicken korma, veg korma and butter chicken. Well done

One of our all time favourites. Every dish has been sublime. I have travelled India and Nepal for 2 months so appreciate a few traditional dishes and the beautiful fusion that makes up the menu. Will coming back again and again.

Had a great meal here. The menu isn’t overcrowded and what is offered is done exceptionally well. My highlights were the Okra, Chicken Curry, Prawn coconut curry and tandoori lamb.. I highly recommend a visit.

This is the best Indian food I have had since arriving from England 20 years ago. The masala was unbelievable!!! Will definitely be ordering from here again. Would love to see mushroom rice added to the menu :) THANKS GUYS :)

The best Malai Kofta I have had in Australia. Really fresh ingredients and just delicious. We will definitely be back for more. Worth noting that the food is cheaper if you order via the restaurants website.

Amin and the team serve great food and you'll have the best time. Amin encourages us to try new dishes with different flavours. He also knows what pairs well so flavours aren't ruined.

Very nice, food was cooked perfectly, would definitely come back again for the lamb entree and chicken korma. Service was professional and we loved the palate cleansers and papadoms.

Ordered pickup meal on a Saturday night (& saved 10% versus free delivery). Would have loved to eat in but unfortunately, Covid19 put that wish away. Ordered chicken tikka, beef vindaloo, garlic naan & Kari legume (a mixed vegetables dish). The food was fantastic & authentic Indian as you can get outside of India. We will definitely order again from Spice Temple of Bukhara & hopefully next time, it will be an in-dining experience. I would also like to add that we should all make an effort to support our local restaurants during this very difficult time by ordering their respective cuisines either online or via phone.

Genuinely the most amazing Indian food we have had in a very long time! Lots of unique dishes and exciting flavours! Everyone should try this place at-least once!
