Ultra Tune Engadine

I was impressed that the owner/manager was able to book my car in for a rego check. Also to give it a quick check when I dropped it off so there were no surprises with work required.
Still impressed and will bring my car back for servicing.
Have to also thank my son for suggesting the workshop after he had a positive experience with the work done.

After a very successful service done on my VW Crafter, I decided to give Ultratune Engadine a go servicing my 2008 Ford Focus TDCi.

I'd been getting it serviced elsewhere for the past four years, and it never felt or drove any better each time I picked it up. Then there was a very annoying oil drip right at the front that my previous mechanic could not resolve.

Lately, it had begun to idle roughly, power had dropped off noticeably, and fuel economy had taken a nose dive. I booked it in with Adam and his team, and within about an hour they had diagnosed a cracked charge tube between the intercooler and the turbo. It was not a cheap repair because of the high cost of the original Ford part, but the end result is I have full power back, and fuel economy is looking healthy, although I'll need to run through a full tank to get an accurate figure.

In short, they achieved in one hour what my old workshop couldn't manage to do in four years.

Update: Since the charge-tube replacement, not a single drop of oil has fallen from the engine!

I called about what I thought was faulty wiring or fuses for my brake lights. They said to bring it up in the next day or two whenever suits. I did so and turned out to be the globes, which were replaced on the spot. Said not to worry about any charge for the 15 minutes as 'it's only a globe.' Fantastic service and greatly appreciated.

Engine was over revving on cold starts. So glad i got this looked at, engine idles beautifully now, thank you!

Adam and the team are great. They are open and transparent. They let you know upfront what they think issues might be (e.g. the star bushing) and can roll those fixes into a service. They have also been quick and accommodating to my schedule. Quality service!!!
