Bought a $200 swimsuit. Used it once, put it in wash and the underwire came out like a cheap $5 Kmart bra. Called the shop, got told they couldn’t do anything about it and got passed over to a person who was told to me to be the manager which turned out to be just another employee, he was unhelpful and unsympathetic and told me they were too busy. So I will never ever buy another rip off curl product ever again.

Australian surfing brand Rip Curl has used a transgender biological man to represent women’s surfing.

Sasha Lowerson, 44, has been featured on the Rip Curl Women’s Instagram to promote women’s surfing in Australia.

In an Instagram post, the brand described the biological man as a ‘Waterwoman’ and used the hashtag #RipCurlWomen in a video of the surfer riding waves while wearing women’s swimwear.

The trans surfer previously said he was initially hesitant to compete in women’s surfing due to “fears of rejection and even the threat of violence.”

It comes just months after Rip Curl dropped former brand ambassador Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arms in a shark attack - reportedly over her opposition to transgender people competing in women's sport.

This is an insult to the women of Australia

Rude, arrogant and unhelpful
Went in to EXCHANGE 2 singlets with tags on for more expensive item and told without proof of purchase nothing can be done. Then even insinuated they'd been stolen!
Worst customer experience ever. #grinch
