The Laneway

Really lovely spot south of Caringbah centre.

Coffee was well made, tasted good, and had good latte art. Top marks there!

Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Classic Australian brunch fare. Kids options available.

Service was friendly and reasonably quick, especially considering they were very busy when we visited.

Laneway has limited seating inside, a little more out front, and a lovely few tables round the back if the weather is right. In the rain, your best bet is inside or out front.

Highchairs were available, and parking could be found on the streets surrounding the Cafe.

Our large family group had a wonderful experience for breakfast on Sunday. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere in the courtyard was very relaxing and we all enjoyed our coffees and meals. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. All the meals were delicious. The service was very good too. Overall a great morning out that I highly recommend.

What a beautiful spot for breakfast. Love coming here and getting greeted by smiles from the lovely staff. Thank you to our server Cameron who made sure all my dietary needs were matched while being very polite and easy going. Will be coming back no doubt!

Found this little gem today and Omg coffee and food just delicious the venue has the most relaxing courtyard out the back with plenty of room.
Service was super speedy and the staff are just amazing and friendly with the biggest smiles to greet you.
I highly recommend this venue for any occasion, I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Beautiful little courtyard in the back to enjoy your visit. We had the Beef Brisket Burger and sunrise juice. If I could give a higher rating than 5, I would!

Love everything about this cafe. So lucky it is my local but even if it wasn’t I would still be a regular. Coffee consistently very good. Staff always smiling, welcoming & genuine. Real family atmosphere.

Got a beautiful gluten free Portuguese chicken sandwich today at the laneway, was very tasty. Awesome staff supplying quality food and beverages :)

The laneway Cafe is the gem of the Shire, hand's down the best must try coffee for all the coffee connesuers...double shot almond Latte my absolute favourite...smooth as silk with strong coffee flavour...great work

Great service, delicious food, fabulous coffee and warm and engaging staff. My favourite place in Caringbah to catch up with friends for coffee and a meal.

My family and I really enjoyed dining at the Laneway, the food was amazing, the service was terrific, staff so helpful and welcoming. The venue has a great atmosphere, the courtyard area is a perfect setting to catch up with friends or family. Definitely worth visiting :)

Mim, Frank, Josh, Larissa and the team are the best. The food is wonderful, the coffee is always the best. Super friendly and a fabulous courtyard option at the rear near the park is wonderful for brunch, lunch or a pre booked function. Completely recommend.

Have been coming to the Laneway for years and it can’t be beat! Great coffee and food (especially the Laneway wrap). Service is always 10/10. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The Laneway Cafe hosted my daughter's 18th birthday celebration. The food was great, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. A lovely family run business. Would highly recommend having an event here.

We recently hosted our Love & Life celebration at the Laneway garden and it was absolutely beautiful. The owners and staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate our last minute event and questions! Everyone had a ball especially the kids :)

Had a wonderful time - great food and service! Could not recommend this cafe highly enough!! Held a family birthday brunch in their courtyard area on a Sunday - starting at 11am. Food was excellent - guests pre ordered from a select breakfast and lunch menu - and drinks included alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Staff were extremely attentive and the cost per person was incredibly reasonable. We took a birthday cake with us and were not charged any cakage fees or Sunday surcharges. Everything the staff did came with a smile and in the end, none of the guests wanted to leave!! I would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone!

Friendly faces great customer service and nice mocha latte croissant was good they have mini fresh fruit and veg as well i got chokos and limes
