Very beautiful area to walk. Tranquil beaches, small forest, good wharf with ferry to Cronulla and a cute town centre with cafes and a small supermarket. When it’s busy car parks can be hard to find. Also there are toilets here.

It worth a visit but with low tide.

The Bundeena-Maianbar Heritage Walk is a sign-posted tour packed with interesting local facts. A detailed map of the walk is posted near the ferry wharf or available as a brochure from the local shops. The marker on Google Maps (just up from the ferry) indicates the start of the walk.
