Great park and family oriented. Literally on the beach and has safe kids playground

Amenities nearby, don't forget to bring 🏀 for the basketball court and of course grab a delicious feed from the best kebab in Sydney as per reviews down the road on Robertson rd Bad Boys Kebab

Beautiful place for an ocean swim. We enjoyed sitting on the grassy area after our swim. Lots of people on the sandy area. Toilet block available however we didn’t use on our visit.

Nice quiet place when everything else was busy and the kids loved it. A few rock pools to look in. Worth going there.

Rock pools and amazing beach. Good place to relax swim or surf. Next to Shelley beach and less crowded as well. Restrooms are available on site and walking path along the coast has great views.

Great place to go scuba diving with lots of fish and different habitats to explore. Best time to dive is in morning. You also need conditions to be as calm as possible as entry and exit (although it looks fine) can be a bit dicey if waves are strong enough to push you back. That said when you get the conditions it’s a great dive and doesn’t go to deep; 10 metres is the deepest

Good size park right on the beach with a rockpool to swim in.
Good park facilities like shared BBQ's and tables to use and plenty of bins to keep the park clean and tidy. There are change rooms and toilets available as well.

Beautiful, clean, spacious local beach with friendly people. Great picnic place to relax and enjoy with your loved ones. Water is clear as crystal, reef & corals to explore with your snorkeling gear or kids can enjoy a rockpool while parents can relax.

This is beautiful park near the beach. You can go jogging or just sightsee here. There is also an ocean pool so when you can’t choose between the ocean and a swimming pool, it is the best place for you. What’s more, Oak park beach is perfect spot for a picnic with family and friends

Beautiful place to relax with friends and have a picnic. Absolutely magical :) I remember coming to this park as a kid over 20 years ago, nice to see it is still marvellous as always. After we finished our picnic we made sure to keep the place nice and tidy. To protect the local wildlife and sea life. #sdg14 #sdg16 #sdg7 #globalgoals30

Oak Park is a beautiful area just south of Cronulla. With a large park (BBQ and picnic area), playground, toilets and also we won't forget the main event - the rock pool!

Perfect place to spend with family and friends - kid friendly too. This is usually the go-to place on weekends and during the hot summer holidays too.

The crowds can be a bit annoying, especially when everyone flocks to the beach on those hot days. However, if you're lucky enough to find yourself here on a more quiet day, you'll have it made.

The sea breeze, ocean views and tall trees are worth it though.

Good spot for a family swim. Crystal clear water most of the time with a rock pool and a great rock reef to dive on calm days. There are clean toilets and a shower. Also the is a big grassy park area great for picnics and children's birthday parties. The decent from the grass to the beach has a set of stairs not good for those whom are less mobile. The grassy area has a few trees good for shade and a couple off public bbqs. There are no shops here so come prepared with drinks and food if spending the day. It can get busy here on hot weekends so you need to get in early to get a good spot.
If you surf the waves get extremely crowded on a good day and the are many sea urchins on the rocks.

Perfect place to have a swim or a picnic. The Rock pool is large and recently renovated.
Safe for kids and big enough for lap swimming.
Changing rooms and toilets are located on site.

Hidden gem! Just a short distance from the Cronulla shops and the busy beaches is this hidden treasure. Clearest water, least pollution and smallest crowds. Very popular spot for snorkelling with interesting features very close to the shore. A must visit if you are in the area.

Beautiful spot. Not too bad for bird watching. Forever home to our legend Gus, the blue groper. Shame I'll never get to experience him :( I've only heard lovely stories from my mom and dad. What a place!

Beautiful lush open space looking over the water. Only 2 swings but what we were looking for. Lots of room for picnics and cricket games.

A very sad day without Gus the Groper. It’s a beautiful place with calm water and lots to see while snorkeling. It should however be restricted to English speaking locals who do not feel the need to kill and eat everything that moves as in their country (s) of origin. If you go to this beautiful place don’t be scared to call out the behaviours of the grubs who are not locals and think it’s ok to illegally spear and kill anything they see. You will have allot of support to deal with these third world cretans

If you’re looking to do some sun bathing away from the hustle-bustle of Cronulla, this is a great spot with great facilities. Also AMAZING dive site! One of my favorite in Sydney. Parking is the only downside but there are enough side streets to usually find something!

Don't like sandy beaches ? Cronulla is your one ! It is basically a very long rocky beach with lots of grass for you to lay down at the sound of the waves. It has a great walkway if you wanna get to see all of the coastal landscapes and if you like to surf this beach could be appealing to you! It is very far from the city (approx. 1.20 minutes in public transport + walk from Cronulla station). There's a few shops to eat/drink but most of the demography are beaches and town houses (lovely ones!).
