Mock Orange Cafe @ Lake Albert

One of the best coffees in Wagga. I always drive there on a weekend just for the coffee.

I would like to see more vegan options on the menu.

One of my favorite cafes in Wagga. delicious food and great coffee.
It's fairly close to Lake Albert, so it's handy if you're heading there for a walk or run.
Great service too and lovely atmosphere.

Very friendly happy staff, which is important - and providing good food and coffee as well, in a lovely place.

The only slight twist was the outside - we wondered if we'd come to the right place as we pulled into the carpark tucked behind the Blamey. Don't let the surroundings fool you - far and above the best coffee we had on our trip to Wagga!

Awesome staff, great coffee, activities for kids.

Their food could literally be 2 minute noodles and I'd still rate them 5 stars.

Haven't tried their food offerings, but having kids play next to some professionals having a morning coffee next to some special needs young adults and everyone enjoying their experience is just amazing.

Coffee and food are always 10/10 and really speedy for such a popular cafe. The best part of this place is the staff seem to genuinely enjoy being here. It is actually nice to hear banter and laughing from the kitchen on a Monday morning - which didn’t slow the food down at all! There is one particular FOH staff member whose energy stands out and is infectious - they are the kind of person in a business like this that keeps people coming back! I hope they get the recognition and appreciation they deserve!

The Mock Orange Cafe in Lake Albert is one of the few places in Wagga that offers a selection of food that isn't deep fried or been put through a microwave....

Frequently visit Wagga and decided to try this place for a change. Great coffee and great bacon and egg roll. Service was very friendly and plenty of options on the menu.

This cafe is definitely one of the best in Wagga! I got to try their renowned Ramen dish and it was delicious.

Thanks to Roz and her amazing staff my husband and I dropped in for a takeaway coffee and cake to go sit by the Lake. Staff noticed that I was having an health issue and were so kind and thoughtful Roz asked how things were going for me Brought a tear to my eyes thanks for your kindness Coffee and Orange Poppy cake was beautiful so moist Thanks so much we will definitely be back with family and friends x Chris and Wayne

Great brunch..perfect bacon & egg on sourdough + delish dirty chai. Friendly, efficient service.

Probably the best meal and service that I have had at a cafe for years. What I really loved about this menu was that it was not full of deep fried foods and you can see the chef in action with their open kitchen. 5 star for sure!

This cafe is one of my favourites in Wagga. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff are absolutely lovely and always smiling. An additional bonus is that you receive tokens which can go towards the cafe making a donation to a charity or community cause. Cannot recommend this little gem of a cafe enough.

Great reliable coffee and friendly service from everyone at Mock Orange. They recently changed their menu and there's some real gems hidden in there. I recommend the BLAT for a tasty breakfast, or just scrambled eggs on toast for something simple and reliable. The pork bao buns are also good.

I don't recommend the Thai vegetarian ramen - the one I had was quite bland and it just didn't come together right to feel worth it. The staff were great though and organised a voucher and took my feedback. It's great to visit a place that's actively working on its menu!

Very relaxed atmosphere, beautiful selection of food, very reasonable pricing, our meals were delicious and the staff were fabulous. Highly recommend.
