Excellent food with warm service, pretty unforgettable experience in New Acton area. Some dishes, like the octopus and prawns, are tasteful; the rest, eggplant and steak, is more of a simple way in cooking. Both taste good tho. The service is really good, caring and warm, given it was a busy night.

Came for a date night and the food was amazing! Great value for taste and portion sizes were ok.

Highlight was the Heirloom tomatoes which were amazing! Steak was cooked well with the bearnaise sauce accompanying it being a great add. The eggplant was great too. All items i would buy again!

Service was fast, attentive, welcoming and staff were lovely to talk to.

It was fairly loud from music and some large groups that were which made it difficult for my partner and I to converse well.

Overall, great place to come eat!

Such a cozy little place! When I was walking along the footpath I legit thought I walked into a botanic garden🤣. I really adored the classical style, furnitures, and layout of this restaurant. The steak frites was delicious, the seasoning was spot on, had such a lovely meal 😁

My partner and I had our wedding reception here in March 2024 and couldn't be happier. The venue manager, Ben was incredibly helpful from start to finish and accommodated our every request where possible. Ben and his staff went above and beyond to ensure that evening ran as smooth as possible and was attentive to us and all of our guests. The food was delicious, the service was immaculate and the vibes were great. Highly recommend Parlour as a wedding venue.

Parlour is a must to try in Canberra. Amazing food and worth the price. Menu is planned for individual plates however you can definitely make it a share plate experience. Recommend the eggplant dish!! Also has great happy hour prices for cocktails

Loved it! Came here for early dinner for 1 on Tuesday. This restaurant has great music, a comfortable feel, great service and a warm vibe. Had the snapper in a creamy butter sauce with vegetables and a side of tempura eggplant with honey. Yummo! Just the perfect amount of food for 1. The dishes complimented each other perfectly. Washed it all down with a G&T and my total bill was $48. Great value for the quality of food, location, the service. Will defo come back and highly recommend it.

Five stars across the board. Went back a second night. Great bar with good cocktails, snacks and food.

Parlour's aesthetic is great, upscale yet casual, just like the atmosphere.

The food itself is delicious, a smaller menu, yet every dish is excellent.

Food arrives slowly, but that's not a problem given the slow eating style of the place. Staff are attentive and friendly, committing orders to memory that I'd struggle to even write down.

Overall, a real nice place to visit.
(PS: The ricotta gnocchi has a POWERFUL mushroom broth)

Very Deco restaurant with a nice vibe and delicious food. Do not mistake this place with the previous version from 2021. This place is worth trying.

We held a small business event at Parlour for some friends and clients. The staff were courteous, friendly and professional. It’s a beautiful location and perfect for both an indoor or outdoor event. Not much to comment about their food as we only had organised nibbles, but what we did get on our platters was simple but good quality cheeses, olives and bread. Overall it was a fantastic visit to Parlour

My family and I walked around for a while before deciding to eat here. And we're glad we did!!! The staff were lovely and the food was incredible! The atmosphere was great. We had the beef medallions, barramundi and the mushroom gnocchi. All of them were delicious and full of flavor. Would recommend if staying in Canberra for a couple of nights (:

Had a lovely dinner here with friends. The food was delicious and well portioned. The setting is gorgeous, i personally loved the decor and lighting. Parlour is such a beautiful venue, with so much Canberra history in this building. The staff are so polite and thoughtful. Highly recommended.

We organised a 60th surprised party at Parlour. Everything was flawless. Food was incredible, our drinks and cocktails were amazing and the service was fabulous. We threw the kitchen a few speed bumps with some impromptu speeches which impacted their service and they were flexible and adaptive to suit our needs.

Excellent evening! The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful with warm and welcoming decor. The restaurant is tucked in a very picturesque spot, and foot traffic was surprisingly light. We were served quickly, our drinks were perfect, and we had a great time before the food even came out - big thanks to Francis who took care of us, and really knew his stuff. We tried a variety of items on the menu, and the oysters, chicken skewers, and crispy eggplant were delicious. We had the Wild Venison as our main, and were absolutely stuffed by the end of the evening. All the food was fantastic, and we want to go back to try the other mains! Recommended for a lovely lunch or evening out.

The food was glorious! Being a lover of tapas style eating, this was wonderful and each dish we had was sublime... 4 plates and then a dessert that was wonderfully savoury and sweet (and a surprise birthday cake slice 🎉)
We tried a good amount of the cocktails and each and everyone were far too moreish 😄
Highly recommend Parlour for an elegant while being relaxed place to dine and sip.

Fantastic food, small menu so have ability to focus on perfection. Great atmosphere. Rugs were a bit of a trip hazard. Toilets located downstairs. Not sure about accessibility for wide range of diners.

The ANU Shakespeare Society, National Theatre Society and Musical Theatre Collective hosted our annual end-of-year ball at Parlour and we had a fantastic time! The food was delicious, the venue itself is gorgeous, and the team were absolute stars. Noriel was wonderful to work with in the lead up to the event, very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Ben and Cameron who were in charge on the night itself were brilliant, so friendly and welcoming to our large event. This year marks two years in a row that we've hosted ANU Theatre Ball at Parlour, and we hope to continue coming back here for future events!
