Outback Jacks

I was skeptical of coming here having read a number of poor reviews here on Google, however our travelling companions convinced us to give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised with the friendly service, tasty meals and reasonable prices. We ordered a few 'combo's' with a mix of hot chicken wings, pork ribs, rump steak, potato spuds, hot chips and steamed vegetables. The rump steak was well cooked and the steamed vegetables were well sized. There was a kids activity corner that had two Playstations and colouring pencils and sheets which were a great hit with the four kids we had with us. All in all we had a great meal and a great night!

Wow what a great dinner. Had the ribs and wings deal. What an amazing and generous sized meal. Loved it. Ribs were cooked perfectly and meat fell off the bone. I was told this place is under new management so give it another go cause its great. You won't go away hungry.

Two of us had a very relaxing lunch today. Intolerably hot weather drive us into the restaurant seeking some respite. It was cool and spacious and the staff were very welcoming. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We both ordered salads that were very fresh and tasty and just that little bit different from the usual. Generous serves and good value. The menu is interesting and I’m happy to recommend this restaurant that catered comfortably to families and workers during our visit today.

Very good food. 5 of us all had different dishes and all were fantastic. Garlic bread was really good. Staff were very nice. They let us know straight away that there was a bit of a delay for food but the food was worth waiting for. Definitely will return again

On a Saturday night 7 adults and 13 kids from Sydney descended on Jacks. Having worked as a waiter years ago, I know that that’s any waiters worse nightmare. The kids were awful, and most of the parents were too busy trying to organise them to be polite, but the staff were amazing, kept calm and provided us with a great dinner. After we left the manager called to let us know that someone had left a phone on the table. Super professional, many thanks to the young lady that served us and the manager. - highly recommend this Jacks.

Rang at 6.15pm on NYE for a table. Happy to accomodate even on late notice. Meals were better than fantastic and service was great. Asked for medium rare, steak came out more medium but was still fantastic. Meals also came out quick even though the restaurant was nearly full.

I absolutely love this place. The food was outstanding, and great value for money. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. My friends had some cocktails which were also very nice.
I went there for a kid free night out, but I cant wait to take the kids there (which is not something I say about many restaurants)

A very large amount of food for a good price and not bad tasting either. I couldn't finish my whole burger and I didn't get the fries! Atmosphere is relaxed and doesn't take itself too seriously.

Came to this place with a large group and was thoroughly disappointed. The food left us feeling like excited. As the adrenaline ran through our veins from narrowly avoiding an intimate discussion with death himself, we were ecstatic to get out of this naff environment without permanent damage to our bodies. If our minds recover from the confusion of the gimmicky setting we will endeavour to find a finer restaurant to enjoy the taste of "meat-flavoured" rubber and write a more specifically critical review.

came from Sydney for a family weekend. We went on a Sunday night and everything was top quality.
One of us Ordered ribs, another steak, and another 2 had a chicken parmi each ... tasted all 4 dishes and amazing stuff. Max our waiter was friendly and took our order with no misunderstandings (infact one of us wanted a well done steak and usually it takes forever to come out because it takes a while to cook and they suggested the piece to be butterflied to cook quicker . No one has ever thought of it before. I thought it was genius haha) chicken was juicy and not dry consistently in both parmis. . And those ribs. Best ribs ever. Sauce wasn't overpowering and it literally fell off the bone as I moved It. The salad that came with it was so delicious and the chips were perfectly cooked. Service was very quick and max got us our drinks straight away. I would definitely go there again and again.

Under new management. Awesome service and a generous serving of food. The salmon and ribs are superb! My partner and I had a great evening to celebrate our birthdays.

Great place or a meal and on first arrival the service was great. Ordered quickly and our food arrived within expected time, The taste was amazing and portion size was as expected for the price we paid which was too expensive.

Yummy ribs & wings platter, ribs just melt in your mouth. Fast friendly service. Kids loved it, yummy food & they enjoyed playing the PlayStations in the kids room, there was also a movie playing in the kids area!

Love this place, great service, quick and efficient, didn't have to wait long for our meals, servings were large and filling and all were cooked well.
waiters were attentive, professional, worked well and had smiles on their faces

Eaten here several times. Family (with kids) for dinner, lunch meeting for work, date night - always friendly service. Meals always on par, if not slightly better, to hogs breath down the road.
I cant see why there are any 1star reviews at all.

I honestly don't know what people are crying about? People are complaining there food is taking over half an hour when they order things such as a well done huge steak :') and not to mention a full resultant, I personally had a great time, awesome costumer service would recommend

Yes! Yes! And Yes. The food was fantastic. The staff (especially the manager who served our group of 6) were great. Friendly, family atmosphere. Totally am going back 😊👍

Lovely food. Had the crocodile burger I've been told it shouldn't have been as tough as I felt it was but boy oh boy it tasted good

It's a beautiful place with excellent service and great food. Staff are doing a superb job. We all had a really good time
