Coronet Bay Beach

A gem of a place. Quite. Clean lovely people. Small community. Excellent general store Well stocked. Very nice walk on the beach and paths. Plenty of fishing boats around testament of good fishing. And there is the story of a recent UFO sitting. Who knows maybe soon again.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Fantastic for a young families.

this is a perfect example of a quiet regional beach that is safe for the entire family! the very shallow water extends far out from the beach and is very safe for children of all ages!
coronet bay beach is serviced by a general store for eats & a brand new pharmacy!
if you want to play out the day, gently make your way up to the renowned
Fig & the Bay restaurant at Heritage Bay for lunch,
then walk it off back along the beach to coronet bay! that's like a day trip!

Absolutely beautiful beach with some of the best sunsets I've seen anywhere in the world. Great for a long walk in the evening or a swim to cool off in summer.
Great for all sorts of boating to. Ample parking and also a serviceable toilet. Very few swimming beach's along the Bass Coast are as nice as coronet bay. Also a short walk to the local store.

Also the review below that just says "worst" is why Google reviews are basically pointless.

Beautiful little shallow beach when it's medium to high tide when it's low you have to walk a fair way out and it gets a little bit muddy but if you're not a princess it's still great to swim at

Loved it here, brought our dog (on lead). Not too many people & toilet facilities available, nice friendly people on the beach.

Coronet Bay Beach was absolutely beautiful, the sand was soft and the water was clear, not heavily populated, so plenty of room for everyone, without it feeling over crowded.
There is a nice little corner store there, as well as showers to clean afterwards.
But I think the winner for the kids, was finding lots of little sand dunes with bays of water, and inside finding many different types of sea life, like crabs, hermit crabs, fish, and clams. Oh, the list could go on.

Great place and usually the water is warm during summer. Tide comes in and usually grab a deck chair and let the tide slowly come in.
Dogs are allowed during all seasons and peak times just need to be on leash

Such a wonderful little beach, when the tides are right!! Playground, toilets and BBQ all nearby with ample parking.

We love this beach and NYE celebrations are always great, family friendly fun.

Omg I love this place

Perfect with young children calm water, very nice and warm, fine for swimming if tide is in or out. Has toilets and taps to rinse down afterwards. Playground, BBQ and covered eating area.
This is our favourite spot to go to relax and sit in the water while our 3 years old splashes besides us.
