I was quite impressed with the displays and information available at the centre and it has beautiful views of Lake Burley Griffin.

The formation of Canberra and the planned development of its institutions. The National Capital Exhibition warrants an hour or two of your time to get a visual perception of why and how Canberra came about and why Canberra is Australia's National Capital.

I enjoyed this museum a lot more than I expected. It’s small, but well designed and jam packed with great information about the history and layout of Canberra. This was one of our first stops when we visited the city and it was a great introduction to Canberra. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable and the museum is free to visit. The views outside are also amazing, as is the nearby Commonwealth Park. We were lucky to visit at the same time as some school groups as we were able to see the interactive presentation over the display model (I think this only plays when school groups are there, which is a shame). Overall, a short stop, but definitely worth the visit!

The Floriade was great with a great variety of flowers. There was night markets, stalls and live bands. Do bear in mind this was for the floriade and not on everyweek.

There was a bit of construction and stuff going on so couldn't see much unfortunately. Nice walk around the lake tho. Public toilets were also being renovated which almost resulted in an embarrassing accident so warning would've been nice

A very well put together exhibition on the creation and design of Canberra. Good to see the development of the plan from the original design through to the current layout. Excellent view across the lake. Really enjoyed the old film about the creation of Lake Burley Griffin.

This is our first time attending the Floriade in Canberra at the National Exhibition Centre. It is absolutely fantastic and gave people the feeling of festive season and spring. Although parking can be an issue, the garden itself is really exciting with all these flowers in different colors and shapes. Highly recommended if you are new to Canberra.

Came for Floriade. Although this year didn't see any new and exciting additions, it was still a pleasant visit as always to Floriade. Wonderful flowers, nice stallholders and pleasant food. Pialligo estate is hosting most of the food this year and the meals were quite pleasant and standardly priced.

You should visit this place first when you arrive at Canberra. This place provides a complete guide to Canberra's recreational place. There are interactive map, photo booth, and even marchandise. You can also see Canberra's biggest water from the terrace. And that is a great view.
