Spent hours and hours looking for a strong colour change Alexandrite to give to my son when he is older….should’ve just come here to begin with. They spent the time going through their selection (which was very impressive) and helped us find an amazing gem that will be cherished forever. We came to Gemstone WA because we were looking for something specific with our engagement ring and other jewellers had very average selections of stones. It’s a lovely family business and Luis was the only one out of half a dozen jewellers who were willing to work with us to create the ring we had imagined.
Luis was very understanding of our budget and went a step beyond to make the ring truly unique by including our daughters birthstone, something we hadn’t even considered.
Luis and Daniela are a wonderful team, provide incredible service and my soon to be wife and I will recommend them wholeheartedly to everyone. Will be back soon to get them to design our wedding bands

Throughout the entire design process, Luis treated us both with the utmost patience, compassion, respect, and empathy. He also showed great interest in learning each of our personal styles and preferences, and sharing his advice and expertise in supporting us to design rings that best expressed them. Luis helped us find the perfect centre sapphires for each of our rings, and was creative and collaborative in incorporating two family heirloom sapphires into my fiancé's ring as well. My long hunt for yellow sapphire ring finally rested upon finding this website. I am from Sydney and the shop was in WA, despite that the communication and transaction was extremely smooth with the owner, Luis. He did couple of video chat with me to make me feel like I visited his shop. He helped me pick the perfect size and he sent me the real stone’s video in a virtual ring before making it. The best part was that I wanted to make the ring design in such a way that the stone would touch my skin at all times and Louis knew exactly what I meant. The stone is of excellent quality and the design is flawless. I highly, highly recommend him and his store. A 100% happy customer!

Gemstones Western Australia made my fiancé’s sapphire engagement ring and matching wedding band and we found it an excellent experience. GWA is run by Luis, who was very approachable and friendly throughout whole process. We felt comfortable asking any questions we had and knowing very little about sapphires, Luis did an excellent job of educating me on everything I needed to know. More importantly Luis has an excellent collection of loose gemstones at GWA, which is great because gemstones often look different in person compared to in photos, so seeing the sapphires in person guaranteed that my fiancé found a gemstone she really liked. Luis was very accommodating throughout the design process and when we finally had the ring in hand, my fiancé was very pleased with the final product (also the provided skittles!). Luis and Daniela provided an amazing service! I came to them in search of an engagement ring for my fiancé (because she said yes, and probably thanks to the ring :D) after having gone to several other places around the city. I came in with an idea of what I wanted to get and they helped me find something that was simply a million times better than what I could have dreamed. They were understanding of my situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and held the ring for me while I made payments. After the successful proposal we needed to resize the ring, and despite being incredibly busy they managed to get in done in just 24hrs (a whole week ahead of the estimated delivery date). I can’t say enough good things about them. My partner and I will be going through them to purchase our wedding bands as we are incredibly thrilled with their expertise, service, and overall experience!

Choosing an engagement ring and or wedding bands can be a daunting process! Luis and Daniela provided a relaxed and comfortable environment which made the whole process fun and stress free. They have a large range of beautiful stones to suit a variety of budgets and Luis offered great advice regarding different style choices so that we achieved a perfectly balanced ring. At no point did we feel pressured into spending more or choosing a design we didnt want. Re-sizing or style changes were easily dealt with and the craftsmanship of the final products is beautiful.
