Barb at the Centre gave us a great run down on Gunnedah and sites to see plus a bit about Lightning Ridge where we are headed.

On Saturday a very helpful Leanne gave us information about this great place, as we only had a few hours to look around we managed to see so much with her directions.

Lovely lady called Barb who filled us with great information and was very helpful! Highly recommend stopping here and have a quick look in the art gallery.

The woman working there offered us her assistance. She was very friendly & extremely helpful. Great service.

Lady on duty, should have noted her name, was very helpfull. Being just off the main street parking was easy. As in most other places Covid has resulted in some spots of interest being closed. We shall return to this lovely town in hopefully the not too distant future.

So if you are looking for information on the Gunnedah area then stop in here and the wonderful staff will help you with all of your questions. Gunnedah claims to be the koala 🐨 capital of Australia 🇦🇺. So keep your eyes 👀 peeled and try not to trip over looking up in the trees 😂. The toilets at the cricket oval has been decorated nicely with a voice reading you Banjo Patterson while you do your business.

Gunnedah is my home town and I love it very much but how much it has evolved in just two year just blew me away. Gunnedah is a place where you can raise a family in the peace and quiet and it has alot of great companies for the youth to consider working for. Unfortunately I didnt get to take any photos.

Old fashioned customer service from true local. Art gallery worth a look too. Highly recommend.

What a lovely country town. The public toilets have samples of Australian poetry on the doors with the author. Quite unique.

Called in for road closure info due to floods. Jenny was very helpful.

The young gentleman that help us was very knowledgeable about the area. Gave us lots of options so we decided to stay an extra day
