Grand View Hotel

We had a good Ole bar lunch and it was great.
Enjoyed the mushroom and steak pie and a chicken schnitzel and of course a nice cold ale. Outdoor dining was beautiful.

This place is Gorgeous! The spotless, rustic, theme - Gorgeous! The service team - Gorgeous! And the food - So Gorgeous! And to top it all off; a curtesy bus with a gorgeous driver. I cannot recommend the Grandview enough! Great work Team 💖 Well done!

What an outstanding culinary surprise with fabulous atmosphere. Celebrating my partner’s birthday lunch we were both blown away by the wide selection of taste delights available. The chef has gone above & beyond “pub meals”. Arguably one of the best meals we have both had, amazing choice, some risk of flavours, but dang the result = & pure mouth watering joy. The score achieved is nothing less than 20 out of 10 !!!! The quantity did us hearty eaters in & it was certainly “value for money”. Highly recommend.

Beautifully maintained historic hotel with impeccable table service and delicious yet original flavours as well as typical pub favourites for less adventurous eaters. I couldn't understand why it wasn't packed out for Saturday lunch! Prices excellent for the top quality received.

A great experience- we went on an "off day" but the food was still delicious however, some locals who have been multiple times declared this was not the usual. The menu is fantastic, we were lucky enough for a kids eat free menu and the meals were still yummy all round. Probably some of the best in bowen

Went here on Sunday for lunch and was totally surprised. We had lunch in the outside court yard under the shade of the frangipani. All the staff were fabulous with great service A good choice of food on the menu and all well presented and tasty. Well worth a meal at this historic hotel.

Absolutely delicious food and the staff were so lovely, friendly and genuinely intent on us enjoying our dining experience. We loved our meals of the Brazilian burger and the Brisket.

Monday night chicken schnitzel special, $20 with wine or a beer, absolutely delicious. Every part of the dish was exceptional. Best pub feed in a long time. Highly recommend.

Had the fillet steak, cooked to perfection, medium rare. Service and courtesy bus was first class on a slow Sunday night.

We had a delicious lunch here today. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our food was great. Hubby had the chunky pie float which he really enjoyed and I had the poke bowl which was so full of different flavours. Both inside and outside areas are lovely. Will definitely be back here again next time we are in Bowen.

The food came out incredibly fast!
My partner and I had the prawn entré with the mango sauce. This was divine!
And had two pastas for mains, and crepes for dessert. Everything was lovely. Staff was super friendly as well.

Great food, atmosphere and service

We have just celebrated our 60th Birthday/Class Reunion at the Grand view. There were 105 attendees who partied on until wee hours out in the Markee/ Beer garden.
Chef Louise worked with me all the way through the process to come up with the perfect selection for our buffet dinner.
All night and the following day everyone was raving about the food and how beautifully everything was cooked, especially the steaks that melted in your mouth. Well done and thank you Louise 💖
I also have to mention Sandy. I had no idea Sandy was from admin. When there was a struggle with the seating numbers Sandy was right there and stepped in like a little events coordinater and got it sorted. You little legend 🙏🤩
So if anyone is looking at a big function you will not regret it if you chose the Grandview. Every single person from the reunion had a great night, Thank you, Thank you 🥳🎉

A beautiful courtyard for a lunch on a sunny day. We had the ocean platter and it was a great twist on a traditional seafood platter. The staff were great too. Right near the waterfront and the water park.

Great food, really friendly service. The location and view is excellent and it's just got a great ambience. We always come back here when we are in Bowen

Called in for lunch on a Sunday, staff were amazing and friendly, managed to get a table outside on a beautiful day! The food was absolutely sensational 10 out of 10

I am not fond of hotels but this one was lovely! Friendly helpful staff, lovely decor, beautiful views & open aired. The food was delicious & an excellent standard. I would recommend to anyone visiting Bowen.
