Carroll Gap Farmhouse

We had Valentine's lunch yesterday. The meal Jan prepared for us was beautiful from the cheese plate to the chocolate cake and everything else in between. The setting is gorgeous and Jan and Bob are such welcoming people. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

A beautiful experience learning how to make a delicious lunch, marmalade, date and orange scones and collecting produce from Jan and Bobs gorgeous gardens. I Took my teenage boys and husband along and we had the nicest day getting to know this lovely couple. They were so warm and hospitable and an absolute delight to create in the kitchen and learn from. We managed to meet their 2 new baby calves, horses and pretty rooster. Very inspiring to see how a traditional farmhouse is run and the rich history and stories behind Carrol Gap, thanks again so much for opening your home and making us feel so welcome. The Butlers

Wonderful hosts and a beautiful property :) We had an amazing time enjoying delicious food and a taste of farm life at Carroll gap and we will definitely be passing through again! Thanks to Jan our bellies were always full with fresh bread, cheese and other delights, while Bob gave us some good insights into rural living and farming. We'll be seeing you again 😊

Absolutely charming setting in a colonial era ex-schoolhouse, surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens. Everything is homemade in traditional style and the whole house feels like it has been transported instantly from the Victorian era. Jan is a delightful host and her food is exceptional.
