5 star breakfast place. We came on recommendation by a colleague and were really impressed. Such a nice place. Great food, nice roof top terrace and excellent service. Well worth the little detour on our road trip up to Queensland.

This place is an easy find ! We usually come here with colleagues. Hot choc was good and they had a daily special - Salmon + Hashbrows and its delicious. Would definitely recommend !!! The staff were very polite and helpful too ;)

Came here after reading great reviews and it was every bit as great as people said. We ordered raisin and walnut toast and scrambled eggs on sourdough. Both were excellent and the coffee was good too.

Wow! What a great cafe. Right on the street front and on top of not only the hill but one of the best beaches on the coast Murrays Beach.
I had a real coffee, double shot and it was well extracted, nicely done!
Elle's friend lives nextdoor and raves about it so I better get back for some food.

I like the Hilltop Store because it's menu is slightly different and has amazingly delicious options. Great service and a lovely courtyard to sit out in the sunshine 🌞.

I had polenta field mushrooms XO sauce and poached egg. My wife had eggs bene with burnt butter hollandaise OMG 😲 DELICIOUS.

The eggs have amazing orange yokes and the bacon is amazing!!

It’s in times of “crisis” that I think an establishments true culture shines through. The Hilltop Cafe gets it right every time but today they went above and beyond. When my child spilt his entire hot chocolate (I know, can’t take kids anywhere right? 🤣) right in front where everyone orders they not only made us feel less terribly embarrassed but also went straight back in and made him a new one 🥰 that type of genuine, kind service isn’t found in too many places and I’m truly grateful!! Also their coffee is so delicious!! And the food is always amazing. Great job, guys! 🙌🔥🤗

Stopped for coffee at 9.30am and they were busy. Staff were making coffee's like crazy. Lovely people, good coffee and great location. Was a great spot to sit and relax with a nice hot drink.

Top Cafe restaurant style food. Top of the hill. As soon as you enter you can smell the delicious food and the ambience of design supported by owners present in the business. Local trade supported by locals and a must to explore as you pass by..

Just stopped in for breaky, heading up the coast & everything about the 30 mins we spent here was great. Super friendly staff, lovely views, clean space!
We had the breaky roll which was 10/10! Insane chill kale situation, crispy bacon yummy roll.

Amazing cafe with some beautiful food and drinks. Service is attentive, friendly and speedy. Nice outdoor area. The burgers here are delicious. Poke bowl is also super tasty if you fancy something a little healthier.

What a great spot for a feed. We were visiting some north coast locals who recommended Hilltop and we were happy they did. We stopped for breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had a breakfast burger and it was the best breaky burger I’ve ever bought, made or eaten full stop.

The service is warm and attentive, the outdoor eating area is relaxed, shady and breezy on a warm morning. Quality of food and drinks is good and the prices are consistent with what you are receiving. You can’t get much fresher herbs, they grow their own on site.

Will definitely be back again before we head off home.

Hilltop in Sawtell is truly exceptional! Every visit guarantees a delightful meal accompanied by impeccable service. The special dinner nights add an extra layer of excitement, making each experience unique. I cannot recommend this place enough. The care and effort devoted to both the food and service are truly commendable. It's simply *chefs kiss* amazing!

Like that you can sit by the window whilst having a meal, great way to start the morning. Gorgeous cafe interior, friendly staff & delicious breakfast.

Really great food, albeit in relatively small portions. Service was fantastic - we'd intended to have the croquettes as an entree, but they didn't come until after we'd finished the rest of our food. We didn't really mind, in fact we might not have been entirely clear that we wanted them as an entree, but the staff deducted them from our bill regardless, which I thought was really generous.

Delightful place. They do proper chai latte!! Delicious food, eggs Benny four options, the mushroom bruschetta was amazing. The staff are great too. And parking is much easier than in town. Thumbs up from us!

Great value for breakfast (haven't had lunch, so I can't comment) and the best coffee around. Service is fantastic as well. Such a pleasurable experience. Got me for life now 😃
