Moonlight Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant

The best restaurant i visited during my staying at ANSTO facility. The food is great and the prices are very good. This restaurant combines good food with good prices. The red duck i tried was amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

A great little restaurant. Inexpensive and tasty. The servings are not particularly large but satisfying. Not far from Sutherland station and lots of parking nearby

Lovely Vietnamese restaurant with excellent fresh food. They cater for a wide variety of food intolerances; you just need to mention it and they can adjust on many meals. Very reasonably priced.

My partner and I have been meaning to try this place for years because it’s always so busy. Don’t let the classic, vintage interior fool you, the food and serve was fantastic.

We went on a Saturday at 8pm and this place was still buzzing with happy customers. We sat, ordered, and were well fed within an hour despite it being a full house.

We ordered the entree sampler - my favorite was the spring rolls, my partner is still frothing about the chicken satay. Every part of the sampler was amazing though and we loved the variety of sauces.

We got a few mains:

Salt and pepper eggplant - don’t pass this up! Absolutely amazing and my favorite dish of the evening. A touch of spice from the pepper but the sweet chili sauce was a perfect side to calm things down.

Moonlight mix noodles - simple, unassuming but a nice light pair with the rest of the meal.

Fried rice - 15/10 can’t recommend enough. My partner is obsessed with fried rice and couldn’t stop talking about this on the way home.

Beef with ginger & garlic - really nice, just straight tender, good quality beef with some veg. The sauce from this on top of the fried rice was amazing.

Mildly upset we didn’t try this place sooner but will absolutely be back!

I took our family out for dinner here. The pho was delicious. My wife had the pork belly, she loved it. The kids meals were huge and the beautifully presented ice cream ensured the kids definitely want to go back.

Great service, very friendly staff. LOVE THE FOOD. My go to restaurant and will never stop coming here. The dishes are finely cooked with love. The dish’s are good in size. The place also have yummy desserts from the coconut ice cream to fried ice cream. If you have never been to moonlight Sutherland then u have never being to heaven.

We timed it perfectly before watching Anh Do across the road. This food was so good I loved it and good value, byo wine or buy your drinks there. They had a nice sav blanc per glass which was great.

The food was super tasty, fresh and arrived promptly. We particularly enjoyed the bo la lot and salmon ca kho to. The waitress was very helpful and always cheerful even though it was a little busy at times. 3 courses (we've left feeling more than full) with a couple of wines for well under $100! We will be back, thank you so much.

The food was absolutely delicious, I will definitely be returning. We ordered the fried rice and some salt and pepper eggplant and we couldn’t get enough. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Would recommend to anyone who is craving Vietnamese food!

Omg the food is literally so delicious, I personally never tried Vietnamese food before but after this I am bound to try it again!!! The atmosphere is really cute too!

food was delicious and came out very fast, my waiter was a lovely young man who was a sweetheart and had impeccable service, will come again.

Delicious fresh food! They always have friendly service here. We've been here a heap of times and sampled almost everything on the menu. Not once have we been disappointed here!!! A must try for everyone... Especially the stuffed chicken wings to start!!! Amazing!!!

Always great food and good service

My sister and i found this classy little restaurant after researching Google reviews. We used to travel out of the Shire to indulge in my beloved Vietnamese cuisine and were thrilled to find a local gem. And we were not disappointed! We tried an array of dishes and they were all absolutely sumptuous! Lovely service and gorgeous food - ngon!

Great food. Friendly service and nice ambience. Quite cosy. Gets very busy of a Saturday night so best to make a reservation. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Love the stuffed chicken wings.

Excellent meal, great service. Celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary here. Last time we was here was in 2014 before we moved to the mid coast to live xxx

Great service. Fantastic food and great presentation. Would recommend as one of the highest quality Vietnamese places in the shire. Was served by 2 teenagers, one boy, one girl, very impressed at how well they did for such young waitstaff
