Governor Game lookout

Amazing view with a very well placed picnic table. There is a large parking but not much space for picnic or lookout space. So I guess it wouldn't be good if it was crowded.

Went for a picnic and decided to go south there were many places but stopped here on the way to national park, was a very quiet place a had a great view from the table I chose, there are a few tables here But no BBQ facilities or a bathroom, Plenty of birds that were interested in our food and was happy to share . Worth a stop even to stretch your legs... didn't see any locals they must know a better spot

Amazing. Absolutely stunning views of the coast. You get to see it from different angles. Nice little picnic areas here as well. Convenient parking.
Must visit this lookout on your way through even just for a few minutes.

Nice lookout with a few picnic tables, great vast ocean view! Looks directly down onto North Era campground too. Nice spot for a picnic that's a bit quieter than Garie beach picnic area, but no bins or toilets here so take your rubbish home or use the bins at Garie 👌

Amazing place. Go early & u might get a beach view table for breakfast or lunch.

One of its kind, beautiful views from the lookout. It's around 20-30 steps from car park. I visited on a rainy day and it was beautiful. I am sure on a sunny day, it's even more spectacular.

Excellent look out and area for picnic at the top of the hill overlooking Garie beach. Short 20m walk from car park, easy paths and steps to look out points.

Great lookout over Era and Garie in the Royal National Park

Governor game lookout is located on Garie road on the way to garie beach. It's the next exit after Wattamolla road on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive of Royal National Park. There is a small car park here. The view from the lookout point is really great, specially on a clear and sunny day. It's a very relaxing place. Time well spent.
