Using Australian indigenous ingredients in many dishes and the wonderful harmony of flavours and tastes expand in the mouth. Particularly, starters and desserts we had was beautifully presented, and each element on the plates delicately made.
We had great time and experience in this restaurant.

I loved the restaurant the moment I walked it. The menu was so unique as it's updated every month or so. Had the biryani and a lamb curry, was absolutely amazing! I'd say it's worth the money, would 100% visit again. Also, Loved the hospitality and the chef.

An great little Indian restaurant, tucked away in the suburbs. Daana offers a delicious menu of authentic Indian cuisine. Lovely atmosphere paired with impeccable service make this an eating house to experience. Do yourself a favour and order the tamarind scallops, they are quite simply amazing! Our thanks to Sanjay and the whole Daana team for a great night out.

Delicious Indian food! Really enjoyed dinner with friends at this authentic Indian restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and our primary server, Hamza, was just delightful.

For some reason the landlord is crazy enough to close the lease so go before they have to move to new location at Gold Creek village.

Love the weekly regional thali and end up over eating every single time. All the items are close to authentic flavours .

Beautiful Indian restaurant with fabulous staff. We had the special from the Sakkim Region and the whole meal came out of a tray. We ordered some Roti and left feeling full. The Indian cocktails were yummy. Food was fast, tasty and fulfilling. Good prices and largr menu.

excellent service. I would not call it authentic Indian but the menu is beautifully curated, some of the dishes are derived from such niche Indian dishes that it's quite surprising to see them continents away. I loved the fact that they remembered my name and served me with real care
The pricing is on the higher side but is surely worth it in terms of taste and portion sizes.

Best Indian in Canberra by far. Fresh spices, amazing flavour. The restaurant is a lovely space, with huge tables and the acoustics mean you can actually hear each other speak. The waiters are all absolutely lovely… I will be coming back asap.

I don’t have any photos that were justify how good the food was last night. I actually don’t know the names of the dishes that I had either. Other than there was a shoulder of lamb a seafood medley and lentil dish and a beautiful chicken dish. But I will say is that I have never tasted Indian food like it…it was absolutely delicious!! The staff are all so lovely too. So so good! Thankyou Daana!! We will be back!

The opposite of a cliche. Amazing food. Amazing service. This is a mandatory stop on any trip to Canberra. A hidden gem tucked away from the overly commercialised offerings in Civic. The vibe of the restaurant is also brilliant with nice subtle decor and non-overbearing music. I can't speak more highly of the service, happy to answer any questions and very kind. The food is unlike any other offerings of a typical Indian Restaurant in the West. I also love their leaning into the Native Indigenous Tucker creating a nice fusion with the local Indigenous food culture.

My friend took me to this restaurant when I visited Canberra on Saturday. It was a lovely meal, with most unusual dishes, not at all the normal Indian restaurant food. Extremely well cooked, and delicious, with a great selection of wines. Very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. I hope to plan a return trip to Canberra soon, mostly so I can visit Daana again! Thank you for a great experience.

The place has great ambience and the staff were so warm and friendly. The menu is perfect with the current theme of traditional Indian and Aussie flavours. Food was delicious. We will be back.

Been here a few times and had a great experience each time. Service is amazing, food is tasty and comes out quick and it's good value. Love the way they infuse Indian and Australian cuisine. Highly recommend.
