Henrys Cronulla

Nikkei cuisine is a fusion of both Japanese and South American cuisine and Henrys absolutely nailed it.

We started off with some 'Sydney Rock Oysters' with a ginger mignonette, followed by their 'Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi'. This had a chipotle emulsion, fried shallots and to my surprise, pickled cucumber. The flavours and textures worked and the presentation was just gorgeous.

Of course I had to order the 'Wagyu Beef MS7+ Tartare' and wow! It was so unique and I loved that it was served with nori sheets. This was a favourite.

We also ordered the 'Seared Canadian Scallops' served on creamy white asparagus then topped with Avruga caviar and prosciutto dust. Trust me, this tasted as good as it looks and sounds, and the scallops were cooked beautifully.

Recommended by our waiter, we ordered the 'Crispy Flathead Tacos'. The fish was great, not too oily and the Habanero mayo was the perfect match for it. The only issue with this dish was that we ordered one taco each.. I NEEDED MORE!

We continued with another starter, the 'Truffle Polenta Chips'. They looked more like cubes than chips, but they were still delicious. I would have preferred them a lot more crispier on the outside but that's just me. They were perfect as a side dish to the main dish we ordered, the 'Tajima Wagyu Striploin MS7+ with Baby King Mushroom & Japanese Jus'. I didn't hate this meal but it wasn't my favourite. I usually like my steak medium rare and without mushrooms, so this was just a personal preference.

It was so hard to choose between the three desserts because they all sounded so lush! Again, we asked out waiter for her suggestion and she went with the 'Deconstructed Goat's Curd Cheesecake' which honestly, was the one I wanted the most. The taste of the goat's curd really came through and since I'm a huge fan of goat's cheese, I didn't mind it at all. Perfect way to finish off our lunch!

I've also got to mention that halfway through our lunch, we were surprised with a couple of their signature cocktails. These are dangerously delicious!

I highly recommend this place for any occasion! Dates, family get togethers, brunch with the ladies. It's such a chill venue with a great menu and I would definitely return!

Holy moly Henrys is AMAZING! The service was probably the most friendly and attentive we’ve experienced in a while. Restaurant decor and ambience is lovely. Food was divine!! Shared plates are adequately portioned and serve quickly. The mains are perfect portion sizes and were so beautifully presented! Our 40 minute drive to Henrys was well worth it!

Best restaurant, best food & best staff! I am just in love about them. Went there for the Valentine’s Day and it was just PERFECT! Every dish was unique and so tasty.

We had an amazing night at Henry’s! The polenta chips, fish tacos and lamb rump were especially delish.
Service was super friendly and the setup is cute. Hope to come back one day.

Oh my, I loved the service, the food and the ambience 😍I would highly recommend this Venue... They had fresh seafood, gorgeous cocktails that could never disappoint anyone’s taste buds... They had a lovely waiter who loved chatting who was very passionate about the food that he created... Simply divine.. I would come back to this venue in a heart beat... I went to this venue yesterday, as the covid-19 was easing and they placed us in a spacious open area away from other guests eating... I felt safe and clean from the virus... 💕💕 The food was magnificent... my favourite dish was the oysters and cocktails... mmmmm

Considering it was so close to Christmas we expected it to be a lot busier but it wasn't leaving us the pleasure of being able to take our time. We ordered the $89 banquet, consisting of 5 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides, 1 dessert all as shared plates.
The food was delicious and plentiful, however the kitchen should consider a little more of a gap between plates to enjoy them all.
The service was ace and cocktails were made speedily. The reservation booking was made easily online, a dietary requirement was listed but this seemed to have been over looked, but it was ok as only one plate contained nuts.If you haven't been to Henry's you should. It's certainly value for money and a friendly service.

We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us their recommendations on their most popular dessert. We ordered all 3 desserts as they all sounded delicious. Henry’s did not disappoint. Loved all 3, but the ‘espresso martini mousse’ was heavenly! If these sweet treats are anything to go by, we can’t wait to come back to try their dinner menu.

Service was superb. Food was beyond amazing.. Exceeded all our expectations. Staff were attentive- we chose to sit outside and gentleman got the heater for us- made us feel warm and welcome.

Share plates were awesome! Had the Small Flathead Taco & Rock Oyster. Ordered from Large: Smoked Baby Chicken & Battered Flathead.

Will definitely be back! Highly recommend to anyone looking to dine here!

We went to Henrys to celebrate my birthday and had an incredible dinner experience. Each dish was made so fresh and were well worth the price. The staff were so warm and welcoming, they gave us three shots and a dessert on the house which was such a nice surprise because we weren't expecting anything. We gave the staff a slice of cake each as thanks for their great customer service😂😊 10/10 would recommend

Great experience! We booked for two and there were sevral groups through on the same night. They had carefully placed us so we weren't right up agianst any of them, but also not tucked away.
Excellent cocktails, then onto a great chardonnay. Food was delicious - some creative and well thought out options. The gnocchi special was truly the best gnocchi we have ever eaten. If it is available, I suggest you have it! It is best to ask your waiter, ours was a true champion, and helped us with excellent suggestions. It is very much a sharing style, I would recommend doing it the way they suggest, rather than the standard entree/ mains / desert combo.

Very nice ambience, Meet girlfriends to have our early Christmas lunch. They had a solo singer playing which was wonderful.
I wasn't too sure about the menu as it wasn't your normal food listing.
I ordered the lamb rump and it was amazing. Crushed potatoes, yum.

I have been to Henrys 3 times now including 2 menu changes and its so YUM!
Even took my fussy in laws there and they loved it as well.
Staff are great and very helpful.
I really don't think its expensive at all for what you are getting we splashed out got heaps of food and drinks really enjoyed it turned out it was around $50 each between 4 of us.
The Menu sounds a little odd but everything goes so well together its delicious!
Can't wait to go back.

I had my birthday lunch at Henrys and it could not have been better. We had a group of nine and the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. They assisted us with ordering for a big group as well as accommodating our request to move to a more comfortable table which became free after we finished eating lunch. They happily allowed us to sit there through the late afternoon while the kitchen was closed and we had dessert (a cake we brought which they dressed up beautifully) and more wine and cocktails.

Most importantly the food was fantastic, but the service took the whole afternoon to the next level! The bill was very reasonable coming in at under $100 a head which included about 8 cocktails and plenty of bottles of wine, plus we were all very full and happy! Thanks guys, you exceeded our already high expectations. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely, quiet atmosphere with friendly staff that were attentive and welcoming. The food was amazing with lots of options. The Truffle polenta chips were a real standout dish.

I'm yet to eat at Henry's actual restaurant however organised takeaway during lockdown on my partner's recommendation (he had eaten there before). It was absolutely delicious! There is no food to this level in Cronulla. We had the Crispy Tacos, Chicken Thigh, Steak, Cauliflower and Crushed Potatoes and was blown away by how tasty everything was! It's especially difficult for restaurants to maintain their usual quality when doing takeaway and Henry's has done it so well! I cannot wait to eat at the restaurant properly :) 100% recommend

Beautiful lunch with my girl friends at this restaurant today. Food was amazing and staff were super nice to our table. Excellent ambience - the restaurant has live music every Sunday and we happened to be there so great experience for all of us. Highly recommended!

This place is really wonderful.
The food is deliciously fresh and innovative. The service is inviting and friendly... And the atmosphere (inside in the evening during winter) is cosy and accommodating.

I've been back twice and will continue to return.
