Amazing efficient, friendly staff, great atmosphere and good prices, meals are very good with large portion sizes. If your looking for a proper old skool pub this is it, local people call it "Top pub" for a reason 👍🍺

Have a go at the sheer girth on this parmy, best ive had in tassie and ive eaten a few. Too shelf. Beer was cold, the atmosphere warm and friendly. Ripper.

The quintessential small town pub experience. Well priced huge meals and quirky staff (and locals) made for a memorable meal. We loved meeting Ross the owner who seemed to have a big heart and a love for community - we enjoyed being overwhelmed by his stories. Thanks for a genuinely fun experience.

Was packed with joyful people the atmosphere was rather overwhelming to start with, but it warmed my heart looking around at the smiling faces and complete expression of satisfaction as meals where served and that first bite taken , as it was when ours arrived. That country pub feel with a touch of good old fashioned service and absolutely tasty to come back for food.

We went there as a large group of 25 plus people. Staff were fantastic and meals were excellent. Very generous servings. A good old fashioned pub with plenty of character. You will leave with a full belly. Well done guys five stars from me👌😊

I was served Guinness stout on tap. The staff were all welcoming, I had a good night's sleep and was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go without driving a car.

Good food, great size meals. Very good value for money with the average meal costing $22. Very clean and spacious, no clutter. Child friendly and nice staff and customers. Definitely recommend to stop and eat there.

Great pub ,old school hospitality ,the rooms well presented and suit the period of when it was built. Didn’t get to try the food but the beer was great .
This is a classic country pub. Stayed here again with 5 mates in October ,best pub in Tassie.

I visited this hotel last week with 2 friends and our meals were delicious, the service was excellent and their was a very friendly atmosphere. On top of this the cost was so very reasonable. A good trip.

Fantastic food, everything is cooked fresh, friendly service, the dining room could do with a face-lift but still the best pub in town.

The bottle shop is often open when the other two in Cygnet have closed. Haven't been in the bar but giving five stars for this alone.
