Teewah Camping Zone (Southern Entrance)

Such a beautiful place for camping ! Definitely one of the best campgrounds in the world. We did camp over there at least 6 times during our 1 year that lived in Australia.

Good spot to beach camp. Must bring your own toilet and pay the camping fees and vehicle permits. The rangers will check.

Got to head in during the week and when the school holidays have just ended. Definitely one of the best spots on the sunshine coast to go for a night stay over or even a few days 🏝

Nice place, lots of lovely spots where you can hide away and feel like you're alone on the beach (accept noisy neighbours, probably). The water is good starting from December, in my opinion

You have to be ready for no phone reception, no drinking water, no toilets and the best time in your life!

Awesome part of the world. Freshwater camping grounds has showers and toilets and there are plenty of campsites in the 15km camping area on the beach. Just make sure you check the QLD Govt website for camping and vehicle permits.

Simply amazing

화장실 샤워실이 전혀 없는 초 자연주의
캠핑장이라 3박 4일 동안 잘 씻지 못했지만 호주의 자연을 그대로를 볼 수 있었다
파도 소리를 하루종일 들으면서 지낼 수 있다는 장점도 있지만 밤에 들으면 약간 무섭기도 함

超級美麗的海灘！！當你成功到達之後！！

Freedom to camp anywhere along the 15km beach. The sand where you camp does have lots of bit of charcoal from previous camper so bring a rake and closed in shoes. The beach is like a highway on the weekend very busy but so dam beautiful. I really did love this place. We moved our camp fire to on top of the sand dune in front of camp so we could watch people 4wd down the beach, highly recommended. If your not a confident driver on sand definitely go during low tide as the soft sand does through you around and you must keep up a good speed to get through it without being bogged. Toilets are avaliable however it is a drive to them. We used the Adventure Kings pop up ensuite and toilet.

Good spot, can’t complain… it’s beach camping. The freshwater day use area is nice it includes toilets and picnic benches all in all 4/5 place to camp
