Emerald Restaurant

I ordered 3 main meals just before 6pm on a Tuesday night. 15 minutes was the estimated time to prepare the food. I arrived 15 minutes later and the food was ready. The price was very reasonable. The portions were a good size. The food was definitely not bland as stated by other reviewers. The food was fresh and there was plenty of meat in each. I ordered a chicken, prawn and a beef dish. My order was correct, as I ordered it. There is no dining in at the restaurant. There is ample off street parking.

Great sized meals, cheap and fast service

So I was staying around the corner at The Oceania Crest Hotel. My mum and I decided to give it a try as we had a long day driving around.
Okay, so yeah from the other reviews, it's not a quick 5 minutes. But saying that it wasn't a problem. Whilst I was there, there was a few people that had pre phone ordered, like I said I was staying around the corner so I placed my order and was told it take 30mins so I just went back to my room till time.
So the meal, the food was nice and freshy made. I got sweet n sour chicken, king prawns & mushroom and ribs in plum sauce. I was happy with my meal, i should have asked if the sweet n sour chicken was battered or not as it wasn't. I'd have preferred battered, but that's a personal choice. I would have tried something different and I bet whatever I have gotten I'd have been happy.
Since I've been in Australia 10+years, this one I'll give my top 3.

long waiting tones and can run behind.. but the food was so worth it! The best I’ve ever had. Serves were very much worth it

The best Chinese banquet we've had! The food was very fresh and delicious. The serves were so generous that we took enough home for another meal. Drink prices were great too. Our waiter was helpful, cheerful and friendly. We'll be back for sure.

Great takeaway meal for the family. Generous serving size and tasty food. Reminds me so much of Chinese takeaway I had as a kid (flower shaped carrots for example). Good idea to order by phone then pick up as it can be a bit of a wait.

Beautiful food, blink and you'll miss it. It's so popular make sure you expect a wait time, but I'm telling you it's worth it, especially if you order the salt and pepper squid.

Best satay beef I've had in a long time. Very tender. Generous serve.

I have lived in the area for over 20 years, have been to many restaurants, Emerald Restaurant is the BEST. The food is amazing! Filling, so much flavour. The staff are all lovely, thanks for being the best for so many years in our house 😃

Have had several take away meals all delicious, plenty of serves wish they still had the restaurant open. Staff wonderful

The Best Food in Victor Harbor

One of the best Asian food restaurants in SA! Great food! Wonderful people! Wait times can be alittle long so i suggest you order over the phone if youre taking away.

The Emerald restaurant is always a pleasant experience. The ambiance is not as flash as some fine dining restaurants however, the food and service is always top-notch. Always a pleasure.

The honey chicken is to die for, and the servings are very very generous, well worth your money. 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆
