Hayborough Beach

Nice stretch of soft sand with beach spinifex and other salt tolerant grasses on the low dunes behind.
We walked there from the Bridge Point carpark, will try the Hayward Ct carpark next time.

It's a Gem. Beautiful sand and clear water. A small swell when I was there. Great for kids to have fun in.

A beautiful stretch of the Victor Harbor Coast Line. Walk in one direction towards the causeway and beachfront attractions or continue further along, eventually reaching the Bluff. Let's not forget, you need to pass through gorgeous Kent Reserve, pop in at Yilki store for a hot or cold drink and snacks before the final leg of the journey.
Don't forget, of course, we started at Hayborough beach, so turning towards Pt Elliott, you will walk through the Chiton Rocks section of beach, eventually reaching historic Pt Elliott, here you have Horseshoe Bay, where a current and future lifesavers are trained. There is the historic Ladies Bay, once a ladies only beach. There are beautiful gardens nestled above Horseshoe Bay, where many weddings have taken place. Pt Elliott is alive with cafes and 2 historic pubs. The entire coast line is a dog and horse friendly. Owners tend to be vigilant so, though most dogs are off their leads, is usually after suitability with other dogs has been established. I highly recommend this stunning stretch of our coast line for all to enjoy.

Great beach to walk the dog. Sometimes you get lucky and there is no one there. Only had great experiences with other dogs there too. Mostly people have their dogs off lead and friendly.
