FINO at Seppeltsfield

FINO Restaurant was an excellent choice for lunch. We visited as a group of 8 people, including two vegans, and we all equally enjoyed the food. We had the 6-course sharing menu, and everything from the first to the last dish was truly delicious. The restaurant's ambiance is also beautiful, and the staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Had the valentines day dinner. First time here for food and it was delicious. Some more stand out meals than others, but that can come down to personal preference. Overall, it's nice food, and good seasonal ingredients. Cocktails were yummy and service was good too, but they forgot our drinks a few times. No big deal it was busy.

My husband and I came in for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We don't get to do things like this very often and I'm so glad we did. The food was incredible. We tried things we wouldn't normally eat and enjoyed every bit of it. We also enjoyed the wine pairing with every serve. Highly recommend. As far as the service goes, we can not fault it. From the very first person we spoke to and seated us, right down to the restaurant manager emailing me after a communication error with their 3rd party booking site. Professional communication on all accounts. But a special mention to our server. I think her name was Calleigh. She was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable on the food, the wine and how they paired up. She took our experience up a level. So if she sees this, thank you for a wonderful experience and flawless service. You absolutely made our day.

We had the 6 course menu and the portion was just nice.
First of all the bread was really really good! One of the best I’ve had in a while.
The zucchini, pork and crème brûlée were my favourites ♥
The place itself was beautiful, which elevated the whole dining experience.

Had the most amazing meal at Seppeltsfield winery. At $165 for matching wines, this was great value when you compare to other fine dining establishments. The 6 course sharing feast had good serving sizes and was plenty to go around and each dish came out was well balanced and flavoursome. My favorites were the pork and they Wagyu sirloin which were 10/10. I would 💯 come back. Only slight downside was that it was super busy and service was slow however the meal more than made up for it. If you sit downstairs at the back, this is amongst the wine barrels and has a very nice ambience to it. In my opinion (my opinion Only) this place beats most hatted restaurants in Sydney.

Had the Valentine’s Day set meal with my partner. An excellent night out, food was delicious, our server Calleigh was super personable and great at communicating the pairing, and they handled my partner’s seafood allergy with grace - ensuring neither of us thought we were missing out.

Overall a wonderful experience, we’ll be back!

We had a great lunch while dining at Fino. The staffs were attentive, patient and helpful when were indecisive with our order.

The dish that absolutely blew me away was the beef brisket. It was really tender and melted right away as I putted it in my mouth. The potatoes were a great addition to neutralise the natural grease that may come from the beef.

Would definitely recommend you book a table prior to secure your seats. Don’t forget to also check out their wide selection of wines. As well as their own wine, since Seppeltsfield is also a winery with a long line of heritage.

An amazing meal - set menu and all delicious with fabulous wine selection - entree sourdough with giardinoera; grilled zucchinis, smoked almond and tahini; duck, fig and baked ricotta with the most tender Wagyu brisket flowed by the most AMAZING almond vacherin with local strewed apricots - OMG !! And the coffee just the best!!

Absolutely one of the best restaurants we have eaten at every plate was to die for..and it was all local produce 😋 just outstanding

Wow ! 4 course lunch was amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked, well balanced with meat and vegetables. The veal shank pie was sensational, arguably the best pie I've had in a very long time! The service was exceptional with friendly and efficient staff. Food arrived in quick succession with great descriptions of local produce. Non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious. Big fan of the Fino Vino shiraz. I'm definitely coming back for more.

Amazing 4 course tasting meal with wine pairings. I loved the selection of wines which were a bit different. Highlight was the 3 desserts which were delicious served with 21 year old tawny port.

We had a gorgeous lunch at FINO today. Our guide over the 6-course lunch was Aaron, and he was fantastic. He took time to go into the wines for each course, not all were from Seppeltsfield. The food was beautiful and 6 courses was a lot of food. Would highly recommend the FINO lunch to anyone.

What you would expect from a fine dining venue. The food is sensational, well spaced and timed between dishes. The wine pairing cannot be faulted. Not one point of contention or suggestion.

Introduced to this beautiful restaurant by the lovely lady at Two Hands winery. We were pleasantly surprised by the sharing feast. The flavours of the dishes were just divine and the wait staff made the whole dining experience very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for something special for lunch in Barossa Valley!
P.S. the cheesecake was one of the best I’ve ever had and I’m not a dessert person…

Food was so good, I forgot to take pictures of most of it. Dishes are an absolute flavour hit to the taste buds. They serve in courses of 3, 4 or 6 courses. They do a couple kids meals that aren't on the menu. So if you do have your kids in tow, don't fear, you can still sit down to eat.

First pic is complimentary bread and a pickled salad. The only other picture I managed to snap was the waygu brisket, which was our favourite.

Great place for lunch. The plate looks small but you do feel full by the end of the 4 courses. beautiful place to visit too. Go next door for some wine tasting before or after your meals

Had an awesome dining experience at Fino restaurant doing the Seppeltsfield Singnature with wine pairing. Everything was delicious, excellent presentation & a lovely atmosphere for a leisurely Sunday lunch. Margot was our wine pairing expert and provided service beyond our expectations which added to the overall enjoyment of this event. Yes, maybe a bit pricey but definitely worth the experience - every dish was delicious from start to finish. Awesome, will definitely do this again!

We enjoyed a long lunch here sampling the delicious foods. Everything was amazing. We did the Feed Me option which I highly recommend. We had some dietary requirements and the substitute meals were just as delicious. Our host/owner Sharon was lovely and made the afternoon fun.

This place was highly recommended by the cellar door staff at Penfolds, and we were not disappointed. Truly awesome & delicious food. Really enjoyed our lunch here. The King Fish was definitely the Star ⭐ & a must try. Taste for all the food were spot on.
