Lake Cargelligo Motel

It may be an older motel, but Ingrid’s hospitality lifts it to five stars across the board. Comfortable, clean, a microwave in the room and better hospitality than I’ve had in five star hotels elsewhere.
I reckon I’ll be making a trip back next year just so I can stay here again.
Stayed here for nearly two weeks, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in town. Book ahead, it’s small and busy!
There’s a barbecue here if you want to cook and the pool is immaculate.

We were coming Melbourne from Brisbane,
Clean rooms and reasonably priced.

With a family of four, we opted for the holiday house Pelican View for a 3 night stay. Lovely spot overlooking the lake. Ingrid had the heater on ready for us. Plenty of room, comfy beds and lounge. Very well appointed, clean, tidy and quiet. So glad we stayed here.

Perfect for the weary traveller. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Location is right up the block from the main street. Ingrid the manager is lovely – always smiling and nothing is ever a problem. Great wi-fi connection and a beaut pool as well. Also, well priced. I would definitely stay again.

I came out of Sydney with my partner and the people here are extremely friendly and helpful.

It's a no frills type of motel, great for FIFO workers or anyone who wants to stay a short while and check out the area.

I care more about the customer service as opposed to how new the shower curtains are 🤣

And this place has 10/10 customer service.

Fantastic clean room, comfy bed, not the Ritz but has everything a traveller needs. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome. Advised where to get dinner and sent off being told the heater would be on and the room was warm. Will definitely stay here again.👍👍👍

This is a classic, very hospitable motel. A brilliant place to stay in Lake Cargelligo. Very clean, well maintained and extremely well run by Ingrid and her husband. Great value and recommended highly!

One of those quaint outback motels that you either love or hate. Very old and dated, but I like that. Spotlessly clean. I like that even more. Amazing service from the owner. Perfect.

Wonderful service very friendly, Owners Ingrid and Mark were very helpful making us feel very welcomed, Rooms were very clean & serviced daily, With all the modern cons. fridge, microwave, toaster & coffee making facilities with free Wi/fi and Swimming Pool and BBQ area 10/10

We stayed in the off site 3 bedroom house for a work trip, absolutely fantastic! So cheap for what we got and an awesome view of the lake 😁 I'd definitely recommend it.

Crisp, clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast, quiet location what else do you need.

Rooms were nice and well maintained, service was outstanding, price was great, definitely be back, manager was helpful with places to dine.
